They are with "Yellow Pages" and they call to update their information. They will ask to verify the information that they have on file. Then they ask your name and position. After that then they tell you to hold on so that they can it recorded and will take one minute. I refuse to let someone record my voice saying 'yes'. I told them " no you will not record my voice." They asked to speak to someone else, I then proceeded to tell them no. I asked them to quit calling, cancel the update. "We will keep calling you". I told them again to quit, "Sorry ma'am we can't do that". WTF???? Why can't they quit calling or taking my name off their database. This crap is really pissing me off. First they were using a person that couldn't speak english now I am getting all sorts of people. Help please? Any advise to get these people to stop calling our company

He asked to speak to the person that handles the Nicor bill.  
I said, "Are YOU calling from Nicor?"
He said, "No, we work with Nicor to offer you a discount.  I just want to verify your information to see if you are eligible for the discount"
I said, "No, if you work with Nicor, you have our information."  
He said (in a nasty tone), "Then I'll have to mark that you're not eligible."
I said, "You do that."  Then hung up.

The phone keeps ringing with TOTAL MARKETING and 407-478-1560 on the caller ID.  No one ever pics up on the other end.  It is driving me nuts.  I have unlimited long distance calling so I call them back and it's always a busy signal.

This number keeps calling us to "lower our gas bills"... it comes up Total Marketing.  This time, the girl (Samantha) left a message saying to call her back at 866-512-7660 x699.

this [***] has got stop!!!!!!!  I've had enough of these calls.  If I find out who it is, I'm filing a lawsuit. I've got more important things to do with my time than to answer unwanted calls. I think telemarketers ought to be imprisoned or at least be brought up on harrassment charges.

Just got a call from these folks.  Telling me they were from AT & T ( get these calls all the time;  a lot of them are resellers for AT & T) and they wanted to tell me about a rate reduction.  I told them -- because I am sick and tired of these calls -- that I was NOT interested in any rate reduction and hung up.  My boss thought i was rude.  I've had it with these solicitors.

They hung up when I answered. I am kind mad.  I would have had fun with them. I now act deaf with people like that.

Now they are leaving TEXT MSGS!!!!  For God's sakes. Stop it.  It is several times a day.  When they leave a msg, you can hear in the background all the other telemarketers.  Go telemarket somewhere else.

Receiving a call every other day from this number.  Caller ID reads Total Marketing.  I don't know what they are marketing, because they just hang up.  This has been going on for over a year.  If you call their corporate offices in Sanford, FL, the sytem just plays music.  Nobody will ever pick up.

Everytime I answer this number sounds like somebody is dialing ...maybe they are using telephone lines to make other calls.

The identified themselves as "The Discover Network Merchant Services" and said they wanted to send us packet and needed to verify our information.  The guy talked REALLY fast and at one point said the word $39.95, so I knew it was a scam.  He at one point said he was going to be recording "this portion of the call", and I said no way are you recording me saying yes.  I eventually hung up on him after he basically said he was going to keep calling until I said yes.
