Rec'd a call at 12:15pm 2/6/2014. Said they had my "dream vacation all laid out…" This was on my voicemail as I did not answer when I saw a no. I did NOT recognize…  They said to "press 1 etc…" NO WAY Scammer!!!

Cell phone rang and I didn't recognize the number or the area code. Have taken to not answering these AH's . Anyone who wants to reach me from my business website can call # on website ( of course most of those are not in my list already, but that is business)... all other unrecognizable #'s on Cell will go unanswered. Old phone or I would set a 'block call' action.

Hahaha... give this number to the national no-call list and it'll do as much good as taking a placebo.. because that is all that government agency is... a fake cure.

Now these websites are good to vent our frustration and share information... thank you.

Got also got a missed call from this robot! No message left. Came online before returning the call. Thanks Nancy for starting the thread.

Got this number twice. No answers.  Spam .

They must be working their way through D/FW. I got my call about an hour ago.

This number also called me today. I do not answer unknown phone numbers.  It's important for you not answer or call this number back. It is a scam looking for numbers with a live answer, not voicemail.  If they don't leave a message, it wasn't important. If they get a live person, then they know it is a number they can scam.

Clark Howard (radio show consumer advocate) says that this is a new scam. To find out, people call back but the caller ID is incorrect. It is to an off-shore phone number that charges you something like $19.95 to connect and $9.95 per minute while you are told to wait.

The charge shows up on your phone bill and most people do not check out their phone bill in detail to challange the charge. It is a money maker for both the caller scammer and the phone company (revenue generater).

called 4:00 and left no message

phone rang once, hung up, did not leave a message.  tried to call it back and got a busy tone.  definateley a scam if all these other people are having the exact same symptoms

Called at 4:41 - no message, got busy signal when I called back. Has to be a scam. I live in boston and the area code is florida.

I'm suspicious of this number and concerned it could be part of the scam that bills you if you call it back. The number appears to be from the USA, but reroutes off-shore somewhere. Feds are working on it according to local news in CT.

Same.  In CT.  It rang once.

Just got a call from this number too on my cell phone. Also on the do not call list although that doesn't appear to do much good.

They called left no message. When I called back it was busy.
