Same number calls several times a week.

I don't think it does any good to complain or report that number.  They just keep calling.

I keep getting calls from this number, we have a new unlisted phone number, I have it registered with the Do Not Call List, I am so tired of getting these calls. My husband is a heart patient and it never fails they call when I am out or he is resting,  Someone needs to put these people on notice they are disturbing my peace!!

Got a call from this number also, no message, called it back it says City of Deltona permit
and inspection office. We own no property in Fla. Sounds like a scam reported it!

These people are unbelieveable.  Do not call lists don't seem to phase them.  ...and yes, like several others have reported, they've been using several numbers.  My latest tactic?  For todays call from them I dialed 1 for an operator, asked a few questions (to feign interest), and then asked her to hold (she did! - for at least 5 minutes).  After just setting the phone down & then coming later I asked "Are you still there?"  She was! :o)  

I next said "Good!  I think you've stayed on the line long enough now that I got a trace on your number.  I'm reporting you to the FCC.  Don't call again."

I did report the call to "donotcall.gov" (Yes, I'm on the do not call list. Yes, I report every call)  Even if "scaring them off or reporting them doesn't work, I stil say "delay, delay, delay... them" when they call.  If enough people make them piss away their phone bill time, then maybe it eats up enough time to make this SCAM! unprofitable.  Besides,  you get a "live fish on the line" have some fun & play it.

The only way to stop these calls is to file a complaint each time you receive one, either with the Do Not Call site or the FTC site or both.  If we work together we can eventually put an end to this kind of harassment.
