I have not signed up for college info and this number keeps calling my cell phone. Not sure where they got it from

I just received 2 phone calls within an hour from 408-754-5297 asking to speak with my 20 yr old son who they are saying requested information online about where he can go to school for Law Enforcement. When I advised Spencer that he was not available he asked me to have my son call 1-925-264-3734.  The 2nd call was from a young woman who I advised that someone had just called and I gave her the number "Spencer" told me to have him call and she hadn't a clue as to what that number was and gave me some lame excuse that "this is an auto dialer so calls come from all over the place...." yada, yada, yada. So I called the number Spencer gave me AFTER verifying with my son if he requested information online and he said no, so I told them to remove my home number from auto dialer and that my next call was to be the State Attorney General's Office in the state where I live.  This is all another big scam just like when you get the calls from "Card Services"....BOGUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What part of remove our number don't you understand. We signed up for the National DO NOT CALL and we are still getting more and more calls everyday.

Yup swat just looked to tempting to pass down i get maybe 8 calls a day from it and its p*&sin me off...any idea how to stop em?

They keep fuk.. bothering me after I just sign up for information of colleges, i'm just tired of it...

They wont stop called 8 times in 2 hours directly after signup for information on what I thought was facebook.

i too signed up for that and i finally picked up and they called me by name and hung up... im getting really annoyed!

i started getting these calls the day after i signed up for criminal justice schooling information. how do i make them stop?

I just called the number back after I missed their call THREE DAYS IN A ROW! They told me that I requested information for dental hygiene programs and I switched my major to nursing a LOOONG time ago... I'm wondering who sold them my number. Anyways, I told them that my new major is nursing and they told me that they dont have a nursing program and hung up on me... Hopefully they wont call me anymore. I'm afraid my phone is going to start emitting black smoke from all of their calls!!

Long story short... tell them your major is nursing. They just might stop the calls! mwahaa

Same number, same crap. It rings and as soon as we answer, they hang up.

i keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number.  i do not answer it because i dont want to waste my minutes.

Yo! Dey need to leave a damn message!!! WTF!!

These people absolutely will not stop calling my phone after I have repeatedly asked them. They call five times a day and it is so rude and disrepectful. My husband requested criminal justice information online a long time ago, and since we have found him a school on our own. This is getting ridiculous! I tried reporting them to the Better Business Bureau but the phone number does not bring up any company in their database. I am so pissed off.

I too, am getting numerous calls from this number.  Since I don't answer my cell phone at work and they don't leave a message, I have no idea who is calling.  I did request some information from colleges offering paralegal programs so I'm sure, after reading the posts here, it is yet another fly by night operation preying on those who legitimately wish to pursue their education.

408-754-5297 keeps calling and does not leave a message.  Stop the calls!
