We received calls from this number the past two evenings.  When I answered, there was no one on the other end of the line.  We recently disconnected our Premier Package with directv, so wonder if this has anything to do with the call, as another person posted.

I get called at least 5-10 times a day all times. I do not answer but the name on the caller ID says Maryland.

This number has been calling me recently.  Turns out it is Directv calling to offer me a movie package.

An automate call from Directv!! They are driving me nuts

Im guessing that most or all of you have or had DIRECTV service.
They are calling to (IN MOST CASES) offer you something free. The last time I answered, a few months back (5 actually) they gave me HBO, STARZ, SHOWTIME, CINEMAX, AND NFL SUNDAY TICKET free for 5 months. Not bad for just answering the phone.
This is what sets them apart from others, they offer you upgrades. Others only allow you to have ONE promo per LIFETIME.
Also, The Do Not Call List does NOT apply to companies you are currently doing business with.
You can get most of this to stop if you go to www.directv.com and login to your account. To stop them from contacting you you either check a couple of boxes or un check them, Just read and it will tell you.
If you have problems call customer service they will change it for you.

Someone keeps calling me several times a day from this number and no one ever answers!  It is really annoying and it needs to STOP!

Text of emailed complaint to Directv:

I have been receiving numerous phone calls from 410-774-8549.  Only once did I manage to answer before the caller disconnected.  It was early on a Sunday morning, when I was with family.  He identified himself as being with Directv and wanted to offer me some special services or packages.  I told him I was not interested.  The other calls have rang once or twice, then disconnected with no message left.
If these calls are being made by some representative of your company, you'd better GET IT STOPPED.  If it doesn't stop and I determine it is your company harassing me, you will lose me as a customer.
This is a despicable business practice, if it is Directv.
STOP IT!  STOP IT!
Please respond to let me know that you have taken action to STOP IT, or to let me know that it is not directv, in which case I will probably involve my states attorney general and/or the phone company to determine who it is and STOP IT!

I get 8-10 calls per week from this number for past 8 weeks. I am on national do not call list. Said they were DirectTV. I told this number to drop me from call list and they said would take 7-10 days ?? I called Direct TV. Reported number and put in file not to call me for anything or I will drop service which went into effect immediately. I don believe this is Direct TV or legitimately connected. will report to FCC.

calls and hans up all the time does not say a word on the answering machie or when you pick up it hangs up im sick of it on caller id say directv i dont know if it is but im sick of it

Received this call that woke me up out of a sound sleep at 9AM or so.  I let the voicemail get it.  They didn't leave a message..  Annoying!

I don't like getting sales calls...especially since I am registered on the DO NOT CALL list!

Caller ID showed this number; when I answered they hung up. Rididulous waste of my time.
