    Number first calls with automated message that they are giving me my last courtesy call about my credit card - so I held.  Person comes on (poor English) explaining that they can help me reduce my interest rates on my credit cards if I have more than $3000 in credit.  I said "wait.  You called me and said it was my credit card company.  If so -you'd already know how much credit I have.  Where are you calling from?" and the person hung up.

    TOTAL scam.  Hang up on these calls!

    Monitronics is a legitimate company that provides monitoring of home security systems for a monthly fee.  Don't know if their rates are competitive or not.  These robo calls offer to install the security system for free so they can have the guaranteed monthly income for their monitoring services.
