I saw on the caller ID that the caller was Anthem Plan. I called my normal Anthem plan and they said that they had nothing to do with the call, were not interested in trying to reach me and that this was a scam. Someone else told me this was a collections call, so do not respond or pick up. Anthem told me they ALWAYS use a toll free number to call their clients.

This wasn't a spam call for me. My daughter has Aetna Insurance and I've had trouble with getting some of hers bills paid, as she also has Medicare. Both say the other is primary insurance. So I expected a call from Aetna anyway.
I see other insurance company names among the responses, so maybe this is a central benefits management company. I am sure they aren't trying to sell something so don't be afraid to answer, it may just be they have a wrong contact number.

It was from Humana - which I do have dental insurance through. It just seems odd that they don't just email me.

Um, one telephone number can't belong to SIX OR SEVEN different insurers! Sounds MORE THAN iffy. It sounds like a scam, it sounds like they're SAYING that they are with all of these different insurers!

I got a call from this number today and it was Kaiser healthcare wanting my to call them back at 877-500-7496 because they had "helpful information" for me.  I am a new to Kaiser but I didn't try calling this number back.

My health insurance (recording) advising me I have not returned dependent verification paperwork. In my case, this was a legitimate and needed call.

possibly a third party call center that hosts many parent companies. My call was legit.

Kaiser letting me know that I hadn't taken my 2 year old in for a well checkup...we don't have them as an insurance provider anymore, but a legit call.

I believe this is a Hippa Compliant general medical/insurance call center - in my encounter my insurance BCBS of Texas was doing a verification of my dependents. This was an appropriate/expected call and not spam.

I got a call from this number asking if I am the parent of "Taqiya". There was no option to let the Medicaid robocall know that it got a WRONG NUMBER. I have a pre-paid cell phone. A wrong number costs me a buck if I hadn't made/received calls that day.

Legitimate phone call.  Call confirming dependent that was recently added to my insurance has proper paperwork filled out (Dependent verification form).

I used to work for the phone company.  These people can make it look lot they are calling from a number but that's not the real number.  So when everybody is calling them back these poor people are getting all these calls from irate people.  So just keep in mind that these aren't the people that called you to begin with.  These people ought to change their number because once their number has been used like this the calls probably won't stop.
