- EGThis is PNC for sure. They call as soon as you miss the due date for your payment - mind you, even if you're still within the 10-day grace period. They will eventually leave you a message saying they need to hear from you before 9:00PM. So, one night, I called them and they gave me attitude about not receiving my payment. I asked them if I was unclear about the grace period. The woman confirmed there is a 10-day grace period but that they still consider your payment late if it's not received on the due date. I told her that was ridiculous. I immediately checked my bank account (Chase), and it showed the payment had come out, so I called PNC and reported that my payment left my bank account on time and that I had no idea why they hadn't received it. Please note: if you make your payments online, the service they use doesn't send your payment to PNC on the date the payment is made. Now, I set my payment date for six or seven days after the due date just to spite them (it still posts within the grace period). I have excellent credit, have never been late on any payments on any accounts with or outside of PNC, and I don't feel the need to subject myself to their attitudes.

- Big MikeThis call is from PNC. My payment is due on the 12th of the month. It was moved up when they changed from National City Bank. Payed it on line before the due date, Still called and said it was late, next month I paid the local branch CASH before the due date. Got a late fee notice in the mail. Took 6 months to reverse the charge.. What i was told from the local Branch is National City's installment loans were sold to PNC credit card department. They are none stop when it comes to calling even when the money has been transferred out of your checking account........This type of service has made us decide to relocate two separate company accounts and 4 personal accounts to another bank. PNC has LOST Over $755,000. in business from us. And we do not offer direct deposit for our employees to PNC bank any more. Most are changing.

- BeckySurely #PNC is a joke.... my due date was 2/14 on 2/15 they were calling me wondering where my payment was. I spoke to them and they stated there was NO grace period....who does that? EVERY bill I have ever had has been paid on time (or at least within the 10 day grace period).
Fast forward to Sunday night 2/17 at 7:40 pm EST they are calling me demanding payment?! Are you joking me? This company is a complete joke, and let's not even talk about how rude they are.
Needless to say my payment must have been recieved as of 2/19 because they stopped calling me. NEVER again will I work with #PNC bank. There business practices are beyond disgraceful.- Caller: PNC "bank" auto loans

- EI just want you to know this is the worst bank I have ever worked with. They are rude when you call them, and they seem to enjoy making things difficult. Their automated phone system is such a pain to navigate if you don't have a checking and/or savings account with them. I had an auto loan through them, and whenever I called, I had to press 0 numerous times to get through, because they don't issue you a member number or password with only an auto loan. This past weekend, I refinanced my car through my local credit union (much better rate and amazing customer service). When my loan officer called PNC to verify my payoff, the associate she spoke with was so rude and condescending, and she was speaking so loudly, I could hear her on the other end of the phone. My credit union mailed the check for the payoff, but due to the holiday, I'm sure they haven't received it yet, so they are calling me off the hook to find out where my payment is. Last point I'd like to make: You can't just pay them online through their website if you only have an auto loan through them. You have to go through a third-party site who takes your payment online and then sends it to PNC, which can take a couple of days for processing. If you make your payment on the due date or within the 10-day grace period, PNC will keep calling you until the payment is received, even if you tell them you made the payment online through the third-party service. It's aggravation you don't need, believe me. Please get away from PNC if you can. There are numerous reports online of people having a problem dealing with them.

- DonnaI just got a call from this number for the first time. In reading previous posts, it is PNC Bank. I have my car loan through PNC, but here's the funny part, 1.) I am NEVER late on my payments, and 2>) (this is the real kicker) they called me on my cell phone and I NEVER gave them my cell phone number, they only have my land line number. I would really like to know how they got my cell number. I answered the phone and got a recorded message that said "please hold, I have an important call for this phone number"....I just hung up.
- KeithThis is harassem what they are doing they do not understand that a person can not take their call every time! I had 10 calls one day! They are not even
- Laura O.Called me every two hours and I only have auto loan with them and it's supposed to have grace period. Anyway, I always try to pay before then and its automatic...,they need to learn how to be more patient with customers.

- s e ji haven't had an account with pnc in at least 8 years. i co signed a loan for my brother and the calls started after the loan was fully paid off. she would tell me that there was a missed payment and wanted to take a credit card payment over the phone. i refused and said that i needed to confer with my brother before i did any such thing. now the calls come every other day and the phone doesn't ring, it only registers a missed call.

- ClarkI've gotten a call everyday from these people but nobody ever answers when I say hello. Finally I realized that it was PNC calling because I'm late on my car payment. Had they just left a a message or told me this I would have resolved it from the first call. I also tried to get my payoff amount and got the runaround and when I finally found it out they said they'd send me a phone number and PIN in the mail to check it myself. Never happened. Horrible people to get a loan from for anything!

- MichelleThis number calls the office all day long everyday of the week. No one here deals with this bank nor do they have any loans with them. I am sick of the harassment by this company. They even call when the bank is closed. Which is today! When you call them back to try to talk to a manager it says it's PNC Bank. You tell them to stop calling, but they continue the calls!

- JimIf you have an option not to do business with PNC Bank, then take it. This car loan as been a nightmare from day one, even PNC bank acknowledges that my account got screwed up, and money was being deposited into the wrong account; they still have the money, now after 3 months, they still have the money, PNC bank is sending collection notices, and started calling yesterday.
PNC Bank,
Stop being stupid.
Communicate with other departments.

- NThey call every month before the due date of my car loan and demand my SSN and DOB so they can "confirm" my identity and demand $. When I refuse to give out such information they have cursed at me, demanded I call a different # to confirm my identity, and have attempted to take $ out of my checking account if I'm one day late on payment (without permission). Look, I understand you need to get the money I promised to pay you, and I'm not trying to be a deadbeat by not paying you. But to rape my checking acct an cause overdraft fees (without my agreement) the day before payday is outrageous. I have verbally warned them TWICE about this. Waiting for them to try again so I can call BBB and file a complaint about this illegal tactic.
