Called today but didn't leave message

Called my home phone I answered but no responce

I got tired of this Clyde A. Dunbar always calling so I started to answer it.  Whoever it is just hangs up and when I tried calling it back and it just rings and rings.  Do they charge you to block unwanted numbers from calling?  Also when I looked it up online someone else reported that it was a Tel something or rather but his number shows up as Clyde A. Dunbar on my caller ID.  If it is a sales call why wouldn't they just pitch whatever it is they are selling instead of hanging up?  Seems strange for a sales call to hang up EVERY time I answer.

This is most likely the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.  Since I stopped my subscription, I have been inundated with calls from them to renew.

I called 866-733-0851 and got my number removed.  It does have to do with the Post Gazette.  When the 412 number called me, dude just said wrong number and hung up on me.  They are located on the third floor of the Expo Mart.

This # keeps calling and never leaves a message and/or hangs up when I answer.

Found out from caller id that it is Telestart - call them at 1-866-733-0851 - and have them take your number off of their list. Telemarketer for a newspaper.

4127933055 is the number showing up on my phone. it is the pittsburgh post gazzette trying to offer a discount for people to get the news paper delivered to them

I am glad I finally googled this number. They keep calling me too. It's driving me NUTS!

I just got a call from Telstart. Same thing as everyone else. Answer - no one there. I did the *80 thing and hopefully that works. How they even got my number is beyond me, as I have an unlisted phone number.!

I have contacted the Attorney General's office with a formal complaint.  This call continues to come in, VERY annoying, no one is there,  call it back, no one picks up.  I seem to remember a solicitation from York Newspaper Company coming from Tel Start Corp.

calls several times a week and often 2 or 3 times a day
If I let machine pick up they do not leave a message.
Don't these people have to go by the "DO NOT CALL LIST"

Got a call again today from this number and I finally answered...trying to sell me the York Sunday paper...

just calls and lets phone ring...no message

I called the 866 # and asked to be removed also. let's see if it stops.

Using Tyrone's (thanks Tyrone) info I have learned that this company does telemarketing for a local newspaper in York, Pa. A call to 866-733-0851 was actually answered and they promised to take me off the list. We'll see! I assume they'd like to sell all of us a newspaper subscription?

They call at all hours, and no one is even there to scream at.

I too, tried to call back the 412 number on the caller i.d and it just rang and rang.  So, I just called the 1-866-733-0851 listed here and selected option 1 (telemarketing). I asked politely to be removed from the list (I didn't scream and yell at them as they are just doing their job. I've worked customer service and it is a thankless job wherever you work. It is hard to come into work and have people yell at you all day.)  He just asked for my number and said it was removed.  He was very polite too. So, hopefully this works. Otherwise, I will call and speak to a manager.  However, I had another telemarketing place that was calling me, and I just asked to be removed from the calling list and I was. :)
