I got a Txt saying "I need to talk to you asap bout some [***] just was said abt you. My phone is gonna to die so call me at 1-413-497-0025!!!!!"

Dont bother calling the number. Luckily I dont call numbers that I dont know. I looked it up online and it goes back to a Land Line number in Gilbetville, MA for some hotline.

i called it like a dummy not realizing that my friend could have just called me back from the number she told ME to call (413-497-0025) and there was the Psychiatric hotline....now im getting all these other calls that are scams from different numbers..i mean the call was kinda funny but not when it adds all this other nonsense...so its a waste of time and not funny after all

I thought it was pretty funny and im not sure how they could charge you unless you dont have long distance. Most people do and like the girl said earlier they didnt charge her friends prepay. Its hilarious loosen up

It is a bit dumb, mildly amusing and NOT a number that will charge you for anything but long distance (assuming you're still living in the Dark Ages, paying for long distance). Not the funniest thing I've heard, but was worth the 60 seconds to get a cheap smile. @Racquel "Coincidentally, I have a friend with the name given and almost woke her up in the middle of the night!" Earth to Racquel - you wouldn't have woken her up because she sent the message to you. Your caller ID was revealing her name because it came from her phone. **headdesk**

I received the text message. I googled b4 calling.  What I don't get is...how did they get my friends name and number from my phone? I called my friend and he said that he didn't send no message. I don't use my bluetooth (at all)...scary to think that someone must have hacked my phone.  Another scary thing...I have pix of my little girl on my phone.  I hope they didn't take those (child porn).

ok the original caller id that came up was from 602-790-3436 and it did say "Need to talk to you about some stuff that just happened and it involves you. My phone is about to die so call me on this number 413-497-0025" so when I did a reverse phone number search I found out that the 602 cell number is listed in Tucson and is in Maricopa county and then the 413 # is a land line in Ma and Md. I am glad I did not call this number and am glad all of you have posted! Thank you!

this just happened to me.   said it was from one of my husband's friends.   I googled the number before I called it.

When I called it I got a funny message about how to keep an idiot busy.  Called my cell company after reading this and they told me there was no charges and that a number can not charge you by calling unless it's a 900 number.  They would have to have your credit card info.
