Recieve the same voicemail call today. Called the number back  the guy state the he was with the IRS and wanted to know my ss number. I asked him a couple of questions and he hung up on me.

Just got a call this morning around 9.15 AM a female caller claimed as the officer from IRS, i looked up on internet found this site and actually found the news on CBS regarding this matter (Thanks to Mark for the website). It's totally a scam caller.. Beware!! just hang up the phone people..hang up... don't give what they want!! God Bless

Just received the same voicemail from Nicki Johnson from IRS. When I called the number back a man with a heavy accent answered and acted as though he had no idea what I was talking about and then proceeded to ask me for my name!

Indian boiler room fake IRS caller.

Yeah..I got the same message about 10 days again.   No answer. So I've bp been calling it about 4 times a day and leaving the phone on the line so it takes up recording time .

Also went to FBI website and reported it,

Scam. They ask you for your social to try to "look you up in their system". Dont call them!

They Call me saying that They from irs  but i did a mistake i gave them my name and my ss # i dont know to do

Received a call from this number. Automated female voice stating to "do not ignore. Return call before we take action against you. Have a nice day." I called the number back and a man with thick accent answered the line but all he said, "how can I help you."

Call claiming to be from IRS said 2010, 2011, 2012 back taxes amounting to 4,300 is due, said letters have been mailed, certified mail was not received because no one was home to sign for it, said the (named the correct county) Sheriff is coming to our home to arrest me...stopped short of asking for money right then. Suspect they will call back for money.
Googled the phone number 415-236-3638 and saw all the comments. SCAM.

Received a call claiming this was IRS and that I or my attorney should call back without delay that this matter was time sensitive.  Caller ID said the call was from Pt. Reyes, CA.  Called back and got recording. Left message.  Called again and was told to have my husband call.

I received a call from this number claiming to be from the IRS and that penalties will be applied.
I called and told them I was returning a call. They tried to tell me they put multiple letters on my door and didn't give the IRS my new address and then when I started asking him questions, he got bothered and hung up!!!

Received the same call. All week long saying they are the irs!!!! So annoying then a lady said she would report me cause I am calling her? What!!!!

It's a tape record name NicKY Jhonson. This called is Scams from San Francisco,  CA  it suppossed from  internal Revenue Office

We also received the call.
