I had the same message from a Hungarian number!!! Your Uber code: 0237. If this wasnt you Reply STOP to (415) 237-0403 to unsubscribe. I think its fake and spam. Any idea???

Im getting the same message as everyone else on here and I'm Swedish, living in Sweden and have never used Uber before. Especially not in California??
it wants me to reply with STOP to (415) 237-0403, but I dont really dare to text a random number. Might just see if I can block the number texting me.

I have also been getting this message several times a day for the past weeks (since I registered in Uber, but never used it). I have deleted my phone number from my Uber account, then cancelled said account, but it didn't work. I haven't replied STOP because I don't want to be charged (anyone knows if it's free?). At the end, I opted for blocking the number.

Obviously it’s a spam, don’t reply just ignore, if you replay they will have your contact number and will use it to spam you more and get other information about your accounts, umber will not send a code unless you are registering or if someone forgot his password, and they will not ask you to send sms to from your mobile to unsubscribe as you are valuable customer.

Unsubscribe
