same name, she was extremely professional and direct. but could sense some anxiety in her tone when she was asked couple questions. i hung up and later she called me many more times. i later called she said the court has already issued the order to arrest so nothing can be done !!! looks like sheriff is still looking for all of us as they have to arrest thousands of them :-) hilarious but the call can trap u

I received the exact same call this evening. The man had such a heavy accent that I couldn't really understand what he was saying, but I did make out that he was talking about taxes and making threats about litigation.
This is a SCAM.
How can we fight these scammers back ? It is located in San Francisco, CA. Can any state departments or Federal departments take legal action to stop these scammers and protect people ?!

I really hope there is some way to track these folks. The number says California but I am sure it is getting directed from somewhere. The voice is definitely not an american. It is different nationality sounds very much call center voice with american accent.

Got a call from this number guy claiming to be ricky Johnson gave me ref# and to call back and talk with Mike carter called back another man answered told ne i was go n to be arrested tomorrow by local authorities if i didnt pay 15,236 today so i googled number and here i am reporting to local authorities

These people called me claiming pending litigation from the IRS and that if I did not pay the debt immediately, the Sherriff would come arrest me this week. I have never received any type of notice from the IRS concerning this and I have not even worked for 7 years now, no income to claim.

I just received a call from this number 2 times.  The first time I hung up.  The same number called back so I said hello.  The Indian person said he was from the Internal Revenue Service and wanted to speak to my dad who passed away in 2003.  I told him I was my dad and he said he wants me to pay my taxes from 2 years ago.  I told him he was full of [***] and he told me to go to hell and hung up.  

Everybody, PLEASE be careful.  Most calls today are SCAMS.  

Someone with a heavy accent called about tax litigation. Asked me to call 415-251-8080. This got to be a scam as I am sure I have no tax issues with IRS. Don't be fooled by these crooks.

The same gentleman contacted me this morning saying that the police would be in my house to arrest me for tax fraud. He told me to get my lawyer ready and he was indeed from the IRS I called the IRS identify that he was a scam I contacted my local police authority and made them aware as well

A man with Indian accent left message and claimed that I owed IRS tax and asked myself or my attorney to contact him as soon as possible.

These low lives called me and just like with every other people on this forum couldn't understand them. Called their number back and all I got was that the number was not in service. Just a spoofed number. Isn't it a shame that a person can't even answer their phone these days. You answer the phone and just open PANDERAS BOX on scam calls coming your way.
