I just got a call from there. When I called back, it says the number has been disconnected.
They called my cell phone.

Called me at 3 am. Three times.

yes, someone called me during their stay/visit at SF General and this is the number that shows up on caller id.  but you cannot call it back...... disconnect recording comes on.

This number has tried to call me 3 times, but on my Text Plus app on my iPod. I can't even get phone calls on this app, so there's no way I could answer. I think I was randomly assigned a Cali number when I downloaded the app, but I live in Venezuela. I hope whoever they are trying to reach gets the info they need from San Fran Gen Hospital

It's SF General... pretty stupid to have the callback go to a dead number.. it turned out to be somewhat important and they didn't leave a message

I am in San Francisco and got call and a voice mail from 415.282.8986 that is undecipherable.  A call back to the number shows it has disconnected.

The number is San Francisco General and it is the Physicians or staff calling you back on follow ups. Was seen in the ER about 2 weeks ago and they just phoned today from that number to follow up with me.

Incoming call 10/2/1/2011 from this number. Wierd mumbly female voice. I asked who she was calling for, she asked who I was. I asked why she is calling if she doesn't know me, she said she is lonely and wants to talk with someone. I hung up right away, then.

Got a call from this number and it pisses me off.  I have prepaid service and don't appreciate this one bit!

Received the call twice. First time I let it go to voicemail, the second time it was a doctor from SF General calling to reach my girlfriend, as my number is her backup contact. It's the ID number for their switchboard.

They called....left no message.  Just wanted to share....SF General & UCSF are one and the same.  I went to UCSF med ctr & my doctor is there.  They can't leave a voicemail due to confidentiality restrictions and they are unsure if the # they are calling (your #) is actually for you.

The number isn't from SF General.  I just received two calls from a woman on my cell.  I called the number back and it was a disconnect.  Not sure why everyone is say it's from SF General.

Not to worry, it's from General Hospital (SF) social services.

I'm pretty sure in my case it came from SanFranciscoGeneral Hospital.  I had bizness with a clinic and when I called them at their totally different number and prefix the operator said they use a "camoflouge" number and just try back.

This number 4152828986 is the external dialing out number for all of sf general hospital . You can not call this number back, it will give you a not working signal.
