I got a call from Julie Smith (automated message) stating that a claim against me from the IRS was in the process. The message warned me not to ignore the call and to call back immediately. Upon returning the call all I got were hangups and an answering machin

I am happy I googled this number because I received this call on a Saturday and it totally confused me. I see now to ignore and move on thanks

I just received a call from a upset customer saying she received a call from 415-506-1282, so I called the number for her to be a curious George, The man who answered was heavily accented and when I asked for his IRS number, he gave me my phone number!? Idiot. When I told him he did not have the correct id number, he hung up on me.
Please call the IRS scam # 800-366-4484 to report the scam. Just maybe they will go find a prison cell to think about their wrong doings of impersonation of a Government Official. THE IRS USES THE MAIL, OR IN PERSON VISITS, NOT THE PHONE!!! Please BEWARE!!!  

I just got this call today. Called back and after asking questions and asking to speak with someone who spoke better english, I got hung on. I called again after they called me three more times (one being while I was on the phone with them) and told them I was going to report them. Got hung up on again. Lol.   If they continue to pester, tell them you will report them. Hopefully, they won't call again. There is also a number you can call to report them to the irs. Google 415 irs scam.

received a VM from this number stating it was the IRS and that I need to call this number back ASAP, do not ignore. returned couldn't understand the guy and when i told him so, he hung up on me. called back and went to VM.

Same as everyone else. Machine voice from claims to be IRS. requests a callback. three times in one day.

Got a call from 415-506-1282 with an automated machine stating it's the IRS. Called me twice on a Saturday morning which is already fishy. A rude man with a heavy accent I can't even understand kept telling me I owe thousands and thousands of dollars in back taxes and they are about to put a warrant on my arrest in a few hours. Told me I had to call 415-506-2395 and speak to Kenneth Webster to "convince" him to not put me under arrest and to settle right now over the phone. SCAM!!!

Yes I recieved the same missed call three times from 415-506-1282 with the recording also.

I keep receiving calls from this #; several times a day. I doubt this is the IRS and I am reporting and calling the IRS in an attempt for this to stop.......

My coworker also received the call and message..but she's going through a divorce and has been receiving nasty phone calls from a female she thinks husband is dating...so we called the number back while at work and the fake 415-506-1282 recording keeps calling our work

The IRS only contacts people by mail so this is bs. There are many many Google hits of people reporting this number 415-506-1282.
I'm going to my service providers website and block the number.

I too received 3 calls today that my answering machine got.  I will not call back it seems like a scam to me too!!!!  Same number 415-506-1282

Today  I got a call from 415-506-1282....Telling me to return the call before they take any further action against me so I did....At first I noticed the Indian Accent so I asked for his IRS ID Number (Which They All Have ) He said ok SUCKU911/ I said Excuse me could you repeat that he started laughing and said really you want me to I got mad and sad so this is a scam he said yes and started asking me if I were married did I have kids I kept him taking for a few minutes then I said Thank you he said for what I said for letting me keep you on the phone long enough for my phone company to track your phone call he started alling me vulgar names and hung up over the next few hours he called me back harassing me talking vulgar so I decided to play his game I called him and harassed him on the phone and guess what the calls stopped lol
