I keep getting a VM  on my phone by an Indian guy impersonating as Gary from IRS.
This idiot said it is very important not to disregard this message and call 415-690-1141 as soon as possible before legal allegation take place.
Be very careful and don't give them any information.
As a law abiding citizen and tax payer, if in doubt, stop by nearest IRS office or call them directly @ 800.829.1040
Wonder why such guys have nothing better to do .......... and get a real job instead!

BTW .... upon contact, IRS confirmed that they do not initiate contact with taxpayers by email to request personal or financial information.  This includes any type of electronic communication, such as text messages and social media channels. The IRS also does not ask for PINs, passwords or similar confidential access information for credit card, bank or other financial accounts. Recipients should not open any attachments or click on any links contained in the message. Instead, forward the e-mail to phishing@irs.gov.

Someone called from this number and said I owe IRS taxes. They said my account will be seized and there will be arrest warrant. Be carefull.

We got a call too - from James Brown. Very strange accent or voice modulation software. They left two messages one after another. From that, I knew it was a fake call. The IRS would never bother to call you twice!

Same problem here, these guys keep calling me and it annoying. Who should I report this to?

I also received  calls from VOIP Caller(415-690-1141), similar to the ones described above, on 1-27-2014.

I hope these stupids get caught.

I got the same message 3 times on my home answering machine. It was too late for me to call them back, but I will call them tomorrow and scam them.

They used to it handy is extremely dying sensitive you. My name is Daniel Martin from IRS that deed is doing I wasn't(?) able to do with b(?) and the hot line to my division is 4156901141. I repeat it's 4156901141. Doing tonight or disregard this message and do return the call as soon as possible before legal and-again(?)."

Thanks for all your information. I got a call from this person 3 times today, 1/28, all saying that I should not disregard the message and immediately call back this number. Please don't fall for these stupid calls.

I got a caller stating he is from the irs this is an Indian accent said not to disregard the call or legal action will be taken this is not a irs # so be care full make sure to report the scam to the police and the irs so the can crack down on the basterd

Received the following message from this number:

This message is for Umesh.  Umesh, the very second you receive this message I need you or your retained attorney off record to return this call. The issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. My name is David Jackson from IRS that is internal revenue service department and the hotline to my division is 4156901141. I repeat it is 4156901141. Don't try to disregard this message and do return the call as soon as possible before any legal allegations take place. We have determined that there is a deficiency in your income tax. So goodbye and take care I'll be over there."

I received a couple of calls from this number and a person claiming to be IRS officer, David Jackson, left a message asking to call back immediately as it is "an extremely time sensitive matter" because there is some tax deficiency.
