Thee guys are calling from India (tel # 4158299531). They are scam artists. There was a news item on this on NBC couple of days ago. IRS does not call to collect taxes. They will send you a letter. They will not send police to arrest you! These scammers are as bad as terrorists. This is what I did- I called them back on the same number and the guys start using foul language- then I told them the FBI will get on their tails. That shut them up.

Yep, so called, IRS   they are calling me too.  Anyone know what the scam is?  What are they looking for?

Received a call 8:33 a.m. . California .When I answered, I hade a message (It's the I.R.S. ).I hang up . If it's 8:33 In Philadelphia. Then it's 4:33 in California. The Government offices are not open @ that hour. Hay you stupid A holes, get it together.

Received this same bogus IRS recording call from Julie Smith at 0836 and 0937 EST this morning.  This is plain and simple illegal harassment.
