This collection agency is fraudulant at best.  They hunt down old debts, regardless of the statute of limitations.  A visa from 12 years ago... 🤣🤣🤣

Debt collector, I do owe them I think but yeah, it's one of their new numbers. They're starting to get the idea that home phone numbers work better statistically.

Young people, do yourselves a favor. Consolidate when ready, it's simple. Don't get sucked into the eff you's of this world, just man up and pay. What, it's 20 bucks a month for consolidation, AND you start fresh. Learn your mistakes. These people are only manifest representations of our own sloth, ignorance, and naivete as the new generation.  Not counting those who are accidentally involved in this crap, but for those who aren't, let's get it, already!

Remember when this wasn't as big of a problem? When people had savings? When you were expected to be responsible? Not all of you, I'm sure, but some. CBV should never exist. What is the mentality, exactly, of the people selling the debt? Making our investments weaker so they don't fail? Debt sale investing is weak, clearly, you see the eff you's here. We're going down and our grandkids will bail CBV out when it's time.

They have been calling me daily since the middle of january. i have never picked up but they leave me voicemails about debt.... i have no debt at all and there’s no way i would have any.

These ppl just started calling me at work this morning. If it continues after i have told them they need to stop calling me at work they will be getting some not so nice choosen words thrown at them.

I signed up for a secured mastercard with Capital One a week ago and suddenly i'm being inundated with calls from this number and many others close to it, a couple 905 brampton numbers as well. be careful which corporations you give your information to, our privacy laws and protections are a joke they will sell you out in a heartbeat

Cbv collectors are in Markham at Denson and Kennedy road. They got my new number after a month of peace , they started at 7:30am have called 11 times in 9 hours it's now 6pm, I called them back told them that the York Region police department has been made aware of they're behaviors and I have filled charges wink wink and now they've stopped lol. Guess the debt was worth getting hald down to York region s number two division.

They start calling at 730Am and continue consistantly evey 10 minutes till 9pm when do answer they hang up getting very sick of their bs this is harrassment

They have never left a message at my end just constantly call

It is CBV Collections ....A Fraudulent "Boiler Room"
an Operation which harasses people over the phone .

They extort money while pretending to be legitimate
business and having legitimate claims.

They frequently change phone numbers
(a fraudulent activity on its own) so you cannot simply
block their number.

They operate from Markham and from
British Columbia...Purely Criminal activity.....relying
on extortion from those gullible enough to pay the
money.....

I think the best way to deal with them is to call them
over and over with obscenities and demand to remove
your phone number from they calling list.. They try to
fish for personal information about you. Never give
them your name.or anything else....
The number to remove from their calling list they
can see on their display.

And the phone number they can get from their display
so they have it anyway. Never give them your name.
or anything else....

Flooding them with the calls actually prevents them
from working... They cannot do anything legally

if you use obscenities.....Call them every few seconds
until they remove your number from their calling
list.

Try to enjoy this kind of reverse harassment....it is
truly healing for the psyche after 10th call.....

Most of the women in cbv call centre are aged
worn off pro**itutes agreeing to work for half
of minimum wage out of desperation.
The owner is their pimp.

They are used to all sorts of name calling so be creative
with the language you use...

And then It is truly fun when you hear them more
and more frustrated. and stressed out.
This is the best way to bankrupt this fraudulent
operation.

It would be very useful be to post online the details
of the owner and the callers for everybody to see
Perhaps some more frustrated ppl would act on
those.

The other is bringing complaint to police..If enough
complaints will be brought the police will take a look
on them and file criminal charges against those MOFO's.

Just as an FYI, according to Canada's bankruptcy laws, anyone you owe money to has 2 years to the date of receiving your last payment to initiate court proceedings to recoup their money - after that time you no longer owe the debt.  It can stay in collections for up to 9 yrs - or so the the last collection company I talked to tried to tell me lol. (they were trying to collect on a debt that was almost 10 yrs old - that they "purchased" 2 yrs ago - ask for dates always)

Extremely irritating people, to say the least. They have been calling daily for the past three years. Sometimes twice a day. I owe nothing to anybody. They are disgusting scammers. I block them so the phone rings only one time.

This number have been calling me every morning waking me up from my sleep. I think they're trying to give me a heart attack because I just and get a fast heartbeat. Am going to block them.

They called twice today and I answered, but they hung up right away!

Receive multiple calls from this number daily. Finally answered and they were a collection agency looking for my husband.  Told him that he had an outstanding debt with Rogers Cable (we have never had an account with Rogers Cable).  And then they hung up.  I called them back (and surprised that I got the same lady that called minutes earlier) and told them to remove our number from their list. I didn’t even give my name when she said we didn’t call you, we are calling for your husband and said his name.  Then she wanted to verify his birthdate.  I told her I’d keep calling her to annoy her just like she’s doing to us.  I also tried blocking number, but the system told me that number was unavailable to block.

Call & do not leave a message.  Annoying.
