This collection agency is calling my friend every half hour on the half hour from 8am ast to 9pm ast, this has to be stopped.  The account in question went through a transfer of responsibility last fall.

this number has been calling my repeatedly when I answer you automatically go on hold for an agent...apparently they are recorded as my over the top verbal abuse got a fast response from them ...and amazingly the calls stopped!!

Pay your bills and they wont call

This number calls me every day for months. I don't know how to stop it!!

i keep getting this phone  number calling me all day to it's pissing me off to .I just read all the comments about this I hope everyone like me will get them off our backs good luck all.

This number calls me 5 or 6 times a day. I keep telling them they have the wrong number but obviously that doesn't stop them from calling. I even told them I would be calling my lawyer and suing them for harassment.  The calls start about 7am EST and go until about 9pm EST every day. How do I stop these people from calling me.

The number 416-482-7692 has called my 87 year old father looking for someone with the same last name as his?
These people are slime calling repeatedly in the early hours of the morning to an elderly senior and a veteran's home who has nothing to do with the person they are looking for!!!! Called once at 6AM!

This person keeps phoning me and sounds so unprofessional, be aware.

A 'male robot' just called me from 416-482-7692 saying, 'Stay on the line regarding an urgent business matter'. Very odd. I hung up, and I blocked this number.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the past few days. I down loaded an app for my phone called Dead2Me that allows you to block numbers who have called your phone...works like a charm:)

I recently changed my cell phone number and am constantly being harrassed by telemarketers and this number 416 482 7692 calls me everyday. I have placed my cell number on a "do not call" list but as yet no calls have stopped.

I kept getting calls from iQor. I finally had to fax a letter to the manager demanding them to cease and desist or the matter would be taken to the CPA and harassment charges would be laid. Collection companies are only allowed to call 3 times in a 7 day period no matter if it is automated or a real person.  They are not allowed to harass, threaten or demean people.  They are not allowed to solicit money from family or friends and they are NOT allowed to call your place of work unless it is to verify you are working there.  From what I read on other sites the company who has this number is Optima. A collection agency.  The can also be calling for CBV another collection agency. Know your rights and enforce them.  I am also getting calls from them but never answer.

I have a new cell number and have had calls from this number already and the cell number is 2 days old.

Hi Folks! I received no less than 3 phone call attempts placed by an unknown party from this phone number. I don't answer my phone if I don't recognize the number.

Its a Collections company on behalf of Bell Canada, and legally, they can call you as many times as they want a day. anytime between 8am and 9pm, however, after contact they cannot call you again that day, and leaving voicemails count as contact. so if you don't answer, and they don't leave a voicemail, they can keep calling until you're blue in the face, and you cant do anything about it.

HOWEVER!
If they have not sent you a letter in writing disclosing who they are, who they are on behalf of and how much you owe BEFORE they start making their calls, they cannot call you.
So if you haven't received a letter, I would answer and tell them that, and inform them that until you have received a letter in your name, with all the above details, they are not to call you again.

This number needs to stop calling me. It's averaging between 5 - 8 calls a day. It's harassment and I don't want to deal with it anymore.
