Just got a call from that number right now!!  I called the number back but for some reason it couldn't go through saying to try the number again..*lol*  thank goodness I lied when the person called and said I wasn't home!!!

I got a call tonight and the caller I filled a ballot at Hispanic Festival and won five prizes. The caller told me to go to Woodbridge to claim the prize on Saturday with my partner or sppouse.

I recieved a call tonight saying i was one of the five finalist to win a prize of eithier a flat screen tv, $1500 cash, a trip to florida or a toshisba laptop. It's a good thing i googled this address cuz it did sound fishy.Im glad i didnt brake my neck to go to woodbridge.

They are calling my home phone number and also my cell phone. I don't ever answer if I don't know the number. I did some research and I found this helpful info. Thanks. I hope they stop calling.

SO i just got a call from 4165842444, asking for my bf but the weird thing is that my phone is under my name.  I told them to stop calling cause they had the wrong number if they call again i am going to report it to the police.

they keep calling and harrasing me and family about wining lop top to claim it come here and there they seem to know my first and last name we just moved here with the family kind of weired how they know me and my family

I keep getting multiple calls/day on my cell phone from this scam company. They change their caller-ID and I have at least 5 different numbers from them, all are fake numbers. I have filed a complaint with the CRTC.

I just got the call, but did nto answer the phone because the CD was showing a local area code, but I was getting a LD ring, which seems odd so I did not answer.

This number keeps calling my home number and then my cell on a daily basis. Based on the above posts, I'm not answering!

ive been getting the same calls for the past 3 months.. i did enter a draw at vaughan mills for a mini cooper..the gentleman that called me verified this and went on to say that a woman from barrie had won the car but my name miracously had been drawn for some other prizes..when i told the person on the other end that unless i won the mini cooper i wasnt interested in any other prizes, he became very rude and pushy...he even called me crazy for not wanting to accept a "FREE" prize so i hang up on him and he had the balls to call me again..this time i told him if he called 1 more time i would be reporting the number to the police..im pretty sure they change phone numbers frequently to divert attention..im also 100% sure the sponsors of these draws share and or sell the names on the ballots to other promotors..i will never enter another draw again

When I asked what the guy's number was, he gave me 289-809-3472 and told me BELL just assigned them that number a week ago.
They are East Indian in accent and I couldn't understand the first guy so I said forget it and hung up.
He called me back !! and I told him I can't understand what he's saying so he put his 'manager' on the line, another East Indian accent but not as heavy.
I kept him on the line for a bit and finally told him I can't make it to their 6175 HWY 7 location.

I went to it. It's for a time share pressure sales presentation and then you participate in a draw. It's a drum packed tighter than sardines of tickets ... Thousands.  I'd estimate 90% is the hotel stay in Florida. Not a trip package just accommodations.  I doubt anyone will see the good prizes of the laptop nor tv etc.  tcg a bad contest and a waste of time.  Oh and you must show up with your significant other and salary income of a certain level.  Bleh.

Your information was probably sold from an event you may have attended or taken part in. Last year I ran the Mississauga 10K and later in the summer my wife and I went to Gay Pride in Toronto. In both cases, there were booths set up either to show support for a cause or maybe a draw for a prize at the end of the event. Since then I've been getting calls from people who got my info from both events. The last time I got a call about a month ago I told them that they had been calling me for months and I was not interetsed in anything other than whatI may have given my info for, and to please remove me from their call list. It seems to have worked so far.

I stayed on the phone to see what these scammers were saying. I've entered & won enough contests to know that this is not the way to go about claiming a prize... especially when they state that only a certain demographic can win... but state I've already won. And that I needed a significant other. And to lie when claiming my "prize".

Scam written all over it.
Dude was like, "you think Best Buy would loan their name out to a scam?" haha.
Kept asking me why I wasn't excited.
Duh, stupid. I Googled this number the first time it came up on my phone & became suspicious when called back the number is "not in service". Again, I've entered enough contests where I get enough lame calls like this to be suspicious.  

Claim to have gotten my name & information from the autoshow. Caller ID shows up with this number, name as "device" & you are unable to call the number back.

Gotta go to Woodbridge for a half hour presentation to a "Comedy Show".

Just got the second call, the first called I had won a vacation and the second call a car WOW! Exciting considering I never entered any draw.  The gentleman was quite upset that I did not want the car!!!

I just got a call from 416 584-2444. The guy sounded like he was in a bar. Anyway, some bull crap about me being invited to Collingwood to win a prize. I really could not make head or tails of it. He then wanted an email address. I hung up.

Surely by now the authorities should be doing something about this, no?

Got the same call.. A gentleman with a West Indian accent. .. I went to the spring bike Show in Mississauga and I apparently filled out a ballot and was chosen to be one of the 30 "finalists".. The background noise was loud and sounded like a complete scam.. He started asking for my wifes name... Told him I wasn't interested and hung up.. Total scam...
