Ughh, just got this call.  I can't wait until Google Voice comes to Canada so I can set this call as 'Spam'

I got a call from this number but when i answered the person on the line never said any word so I figured out its just one of the telemarketer so i hang-up . I hate callers like this.

When you call back it says something like it cannot connect with the server.

I also didn't answer, then googled the number for some reason and found this page. Weird.

how di they get our numbers?

Seems like some one seeking debt consolidation business free consultation press 1 for an agent now or 2 to be removed from the calling list. I got this call a few time in the last few days.

Received call from this number to my cell (area code 647) today.  Left same message as others have received.  Added the number to my "block call list".

got the same voice mail on Dec 20, 2011.

I kept on getting calls from this number. It’s very annoying; I think someone should crackdown on these Guys and have them pay a fine for harassment.

Same as others, called back, got a message this number is blocked.

Just got a call from this number. Ignored it and let it go to voicemail where they left an automated message about the economic crisis and debt. Called back and the number is blocked. Not sure how to get off their call list, but this is not the first time I've gotten a call like this. Annoying!!!

Got this same call today...Debt consolidation

Just got this call on work phone.

It's a call about debt consolidation. Not sure if it's a scam, but most likely not the most legit.

Anyway, listen to the message and then press '2' to be "removed from the list". Not sure if you can press 2 sooner.

Also go to https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/index-eng that's the national do not call list. register your number, and report this number as well. They can get heavy fines if they continue to call you.

If you type 4166285255 into google,  one of the results  (Third one on the list) you get is

Click on that  and when the website appears, scroll down and you’ll see , under “Complaints”,  comments from people, and under their comment,  a clickable box that says   “ 4166285255 (, ON) – VIEW DETAILS”  

Click on that box  and among the info that comes up is Company Name:
GT GROUP TELECOM SERVICES CORPORATION

Put that   company name into google and you get  this URL
http://www.profilecanada.com/companydetail.cf ... Corp_Toronto_ON  

which leads you to a site called Profile Canada  which gives contact info for  GT GROUP TELECOM SERVICES CORPORATION including a website  ...  www.gt.ca

Click on   www.gt.ca  and you find Bell Canada’s logo all over it !
Is Bell Canada behind these telemarketing calls?

i wanna know who is this person calling my husband phone, everytime i am the one answers it the person just hang up. it happends twice in a week.

Same thing.  Get it several times a day.  I have several cell phones, all unlisted and I get the message on every one of them.  I even got it at work through my PBX the other day.  The government needs to investigate this...it is a serious offense.

Relentless... Have received this to my cell phone, home phone, work phone (both lines) and the other day I got into the ELEVATOR at work and the stupid message was playing through the emergency speaker in the elevator!! How are they getting these numbers?! Everyone I know is getting this call multiple times per day.

This same consolidation auto message has several numbers they call from.  So far, received the same message on voicemail on cell phones and work from:

647-694-0561

How do we stop these relentless criminals from calling?

Best way in the long term, though not necessarily a very immediate solution is to actually press 1 and waste as much time with the live operator as possible.  Ask a lot of questions, give them a lot of phony information.
If every person did this, call centres would find it very costly to stay in business.

I get this call on my cell and at work. Has anybody actually pressed 1 and talked to a live person? What do they have to say about this?
