I live in Ottawa.

The woman behind the phone did not even know how to speak properly, and she was half mumbling and half going over something on the computer. I told her that unless it was something important, to call me back later, and hung up.

called me twice this week..but it connect to philipines...cheap labour.

I am in Toronto and just received a call from this phone #.  The call is from OPTIMA who is calling on behalf of Scotia Life Insurance offering Accidental Death Insurance.  Just tell them to put you on their DNCL or Do Not Call List.

I have asked scotia bank repeatedly to not give my number to their "partners" whom wish to offer me specials, insurance, credit cards etc....this number is a nuisance as often they do not even say anything...just a hangup.

17/7/14 call @ 1247 mtn. No message left and ID says u/k caller. If this is ScotiaLife or their minions, a hang up with no i/d is a BAD IDEA in getting any positive response.

Phone call from this number and hung up right away.  Not cool man

They knew my name and currant address I told them sorry wrong number no one has my number I didn't give it out

So I got a call from 4166400651 3 times so far.
July 3rd - 5:11pm EST - Missed Call
July 8th - 6:44pm EST - 2 sec
July 15th-5:02pm EST - 2 sec

No answer. No sound. Instant hang up. (2 sec total for 1 call)
No voice-mail left either.

I don't call back, because I don't want their Directory system to see my number as an active number and start calling me more.
I leave it be. On my Phone (android) I just held down the number and added it to my spam/block list.
I recommend you guys doing the same.

No information on the naure of this call.  I picked up the phone and the other line hung up immediately.  ANNOYING!!!!

I have had calls from Optima/Scotiabank before, so it doesn't surprise me that this would be them, but this was weird. Had 4166400651 call me just now, I don't usually answer numbers I don't recognize. Declined their call, they left a message. When I checked the message, it's about 10 seconds of heavy breathing as though they had been running, and the background noise did indicate that they were outside. Then they hung up. Strange.

Just noticing a trend here too. They seem to only call during the month of July, as indicated by all the posts.

Whoa everyone recieve a call in July. Just got called by that number today did not answer it, they did not left a message.
