Always calling...usually after 8pm...several times a week.  Very annoying.

Whoever this is has called our unlisted number once or twice a week for the past couple of weeks. We've never answered because we don't recognize the number, and they never leave a message.

This number's been calling me weekly so far this year. Late at night, I called this number a couple of weeks ago, and heard their voice-prompt greeting identify themselves as some marketing company; I forget who, I should've written their self-ID down, although earlier posts shared here as pegging this number Scotia do sound right.

they say they are from nova-scotia bank and want to sell insurance.

Been few time they call around 7 pm or later,I know the bank is close early.Told them not interested and if I wanted information I will go to my bank and I hang up.

Try a free telemarketer blocking software. Or let your provincial or state. Ministry or government office of business look into it. You will get better results.

this number keeps calling never leaves message but i picked it up and didnt say anything and a female on the outher end hello hello! then she hung up  she calls several times and hours of the days

the funny thing about the call back is when the lady called me last night i said no and she told me that there was no call back number to reach them at and she sounded pissed off that i said no

This number has called my unlisted number 3 times this month.  I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  Some of the posters say that the caller claims to be calling from ScotiaBank.  I don't have an account with them so don't believe them. I WOULDN'T TRUST THEM!

It is Optima Communications on behalf of Scotiabank.  Scotia whored out our info and let Optima bother us for insurance with these annoying machine based and unsolicited phone calls.

Called Friday Jan 18 2013 at 2:41pm, no message left.

i recieved this phone call today did not answer the call.When they hung up i phoned the number back on my cell phone,got an answering machine saying that i have reached Altama communications on behalf of scotialife financial that is connected to scotia bank.i have a couple of bussiness that deal with scotia bank and i will be going in to the bank to let them know that if i keep getting these phone calls that i dont want i will be taking my bussiness somewhere else,i hope everybody does the same so that they will see that these stupid phone call will cost them bussiness and not gain them bussiness

I would like this harrassment to discontinue.

Called on 1/22/13 and again on 1/25/13, I didn't answer either time and they didn't leave a VM

416-640-0667: Got the same as everyone else on this site. I have no idea how they got my cell number and I didn't even answer it. Thank god for Caller Id. This number comes from some where in Toronto, ON. Its time to get security on my cell. I text the number and it turns out to be a land line. Its probably a scam. Maybe they should know that people are not as dumb as they think, getting a reverse number and checking them out.
