Won't stop calling me, comes up as potential fraud on samsung.

Optima Communications is calling on behalf of Scotiabank to get you to enroll in credit card protection insurance.

Some sort of division for Scotiabank that tied to get me to agree to some sort of accidental life insurance. Said no to one, got presented more insurance types on an endless list. Said I can have the free one but kept going on about premiums. Wouldn’t really take no, even when I started making jokes or said what’s the point if I have the free one already. Ended up getting another call a few days later with same number, so now it’s ignored.

Claims to be with scotiabank

Calling about some kind of Scotiabank plan, but after some googling i figured that its not Scotiabank at all. The number, location, people talking, and the way they transfer to an agent is very directly similar to how a basic Refund scam operates. Its kind of concerning.

Got a call from 4168652639 selling life insurance from Scotiabank. Said it’s not Available when I said I’ll go to the bank myself if I want it. Definitely a scam
