The offer for the "discount vacation" is probably 80% off a vacation package that costs five times what it should. It is a sales pitch for a time share, the worst investment ever invented and the saleman is a rude jerk who said "Enjoy paying retail before hanging up."

I have been getting calls from this number for at least a month, several times a day...at least three times a day. My boyfriend also gets calls from the same number. if it is a company they need to be leaving a message with information as to why they are calling, many people dont answer a phone call if it is an unfamiliar number or no message is left...furthermore it is extremely annyoing to get these calls while i am at work and can feel my phone in my pocket go off all day. I am not interested in any stupid offers unless i actually won something, and if i did win something then leave me a darn message!!! i;m broke im not going to buy anything!!!

Don't answer them! They said I won a vacation and then they wanted my debit card info in order to give me the authorization number! I told them three times that I wouldn't give that info to them and were very pushy.  I told them I would call them back after I "looked them up"...and after finding out they're scamming people, I didn't call them back. They called me three times yesterday and called me once today already! I read they keep people on the phone for three hours!!

i got a call from the same debt collector. i see so many people on here that have no idea why some compacy would call about a debt after ten years. but not many denied they have debt. thats why we are all on here talking about a company that harrasses people for money they owe. i had them threaten me they would take me to court and that never happend yet. but how in the world is this company getting your phone numbers when you change it? its hard to get some ones cell number when they change it. and i dont understand why they do but i also dont get why people claim that goes on? i said before you should call the police about it but what are they really gonna do about it? you have to call the company and tell them in writing what is going on. they call from several numbers all the time to trick you into answering. but change your number if you dont like it or send them a letter and tell them what you tell this site. good

Annoying. Evertime they call I answer it and talk in Klingon.  That seemed to work.  They stopped calling.

    Duh:
He was fishing for your personal info, and you gave it to him. Better close your bank account, check on your social security account, and change  the locks on your house.

I think I can shed some light on this one.  I went on one of Branson, Missouri's tourism websites to request a vacation planner brochure and they have been calling ever since.  They never leave a message.  Today it was twice in one day.

A lady called me from Branson to offer me 80% off of a vacation. I filled out an entry for a FREE VACATION at our local home show...when I told her I wasn't interested in paying for a vacation that I only filled out the entry to get a free one the lady got rude and told me to read my entry form then hung up on me! The sign says FREE the entry form says rude [***] will call you?

This is a time share place in Branson, MO. They called me a few days ago but I didn't answer it but my phone caller ID said it was out of Branson, MO. Then today a friend of mine said she got a call saying that she won a trip to Branson, MO but she would have to listen to a time share seminar in order to get it. She asked how they got her name to "win" it and they said it was from the drawing she had entered at a local festival recently that was to win a Mustang. I had also signed up for that drawing and I do remember seeing the fine print that mentioned that by signing up you give some time share company permission to call or send info. So it's not a scam but its annoying. Time share companies offer free trips like this but while you are on the trip, you are staying at one of their properties and you will have to sit through a long time share presentation, some up to 8 hours long and if you leave before you're supposed to, you will have to pay for the stay yourself.

Not really, cause I didn't sign up to win a mini-cooper, and even if i did I would want to be contacted if I won that, not
be bothered about a timeshare.  There is a difference between a vechicle and trip.  But I know what you are saying I think they sell our telephone numbers on these contests.

For us, it was a dark blue Camaro at Opry Mills Mall. They called and said that I was in the top 30 to receive a vacation Branson. But I had to pay 139.99 that very night in order to get the vacation. If I didn't pay the money for the vacation, I wouldn't qualify for the car drawing at the end of week. I do believe that's illegal: I'm going to report them.
