I received the call from 1-419-581-2976 this morning around 1150am...AND MY CELL showed "private name" hence-- if it was important or if it were a recruiter-- THEY USUALLY SHOW THEIR COMPANY NAMES. WELL...people..THIS IS A FRAUDULENT CALL...AND PLEASE DONT EVEN BOTHER. I AM IN TORONTO CANADA AND I have seen NUMEROUS EMAILS ..even capturing data through Monster which I sent to monster for screening. North America is still IN DEEP RECESSION AND THESE PEOPLE KNOW THERE ARE MILLIONS STILL OUT OF WORK AS OF DEC 23 2009!!! WE are excellent prey for these idiots.

I read one of the comments earlier posted and i also posted my resume' on CareerBuilders...And iv been receiving a million Life insurance positions...? might have something to do? they did not speak when i answered the call.

This is a prescreening agency before the actual company schedules technical interview round. This call is very much expected and ifyou get a call from this, itz about a job interview for certain!

When I got a call from this number I waited for it to go to voicemail and picked it up when the caller said she was calling about my resume she saw on an Internet Job Board. She works for Right Thing Inc. - a recruiting firm.

Yes...its not a scam..i also got a call from this number for telephonic interview for one of the positions at Siemens. This I think is a pre-screening process handled by a third party. The guys didn't seem to have any technical knowledge and was reading questions from a script.

It's a 3rd party vendor. Companies like CVS, Siemens, etc, outsource some of their HR roles to "The Right Thing" including interview scheduling, recruiting, background check, etc. The Right Thing could be calling on behalf of any one of a hundred different clients. If you've recently applied for a job or are interested in a new job, you should call them back.

This is a head hunter and they partner together with several other recruiting companies. This company is The RightThing. If you research them you will find the other companies they partner with to recruit people for jobs. Here is the link from the bottom of a job web page that I applied for a job at and they are doing the website for them. The phone number that I received 3 times for jobs applied for is 419-581-2976.

Yeah I think its a scam too. Who calls about an interview at 10:46pm. I wouldn't waste my time.

I just did a phone interview for a job with Dow Chemical Company in Spring House PA.
The person didn't seem to know much specifics about the job and seemed to be just going through a script. It was all pretty "wild" compared to other phone interviews. She told me to call at number 1-866-441-3364. Be carefull !!!

This number corresponds to The Right Thing, an recruitment outsouring firm based in Ohio, this is not a scam, but a large recruiting firm with sizeable US and foreign clients.

I got a call from a recruiter for a legit position.  I've had a phone interview & have an in-person interview coming up.  Seeing all these company names on here... must be a dialing service used by many companies.

How long did it take for you to receive your email for the face to face interview?

This is obviously a recruiting firm that is being outsourced by all the big companies including Chrysler
which I just had a telephone interview with..And to say the least it was very bad connection, almost like
a cheap cell phone connection.

It's a recruiter, the only thing I don't like about it is that they pose as an HR employee from the company they are hiring for.
What gave away that she was posing as HR was the city the company is located in has a french name, but is pronounced americanized (kinda like saying JA-LAP-E-NO instead of HAL-A-PE-NYO). She pronounced it in the french way... everybody from around here knows how to say it.

I just got a call and they said that they were from a medical supply company. When I told him that I am on the no call list and that I will report him he said "I must have the wrong number!" what a joke!!
