Caller hung up, when call went to voice mail.

The called me. When I called back it gives a busy tone.

caller id shows  C.B.C.  never heard of so no answer

I never give my work number out because we are not allowed to have calls yet they persist on calling me at my place of employment and jeopardizing my job

CBC is a collections company in kingsport, tn. they are calling to try to collect a debt.. if you ever got a loan, etc that defaulted and you gave your work number to whomever you got the loan through, then that info is passed on to the collection agency- and technically they can call any number on file

Called back. I know for a fact I have no debt. I have a 500  victoria secret card that I pay as soon as I purchase.  I let them know if they continue to call it's harassment .

It is illegal for any debt collector to call you at work, next time they call, tell them to not contact you anymore at work or you will file a harassment suit.

Medical debt collection for someone in Kgpt TN... As I have no other debts. What's weird is it always goes directly to my voicemail.

They keep Calling Me And Hanging Up On The First Ring. I Tried To Call Them Back, They Were Very Rude And Won't Tell Me Why They're Calling. Just Stupid.

Jessica from CBC talks way too fast on her message..had to listen 4 times plus very unprofessional and rude..

My phone does not ring when they call, I just get a notification for a voicemail.

They called and left message they were calling about a debt.  When I called them back no one answered.  Then I read these comments and realized this was a scam.  I blocked this phone number.

They Have called several times

All you have to do is tell them not to call anymore and then that is harassment

I don't think that advice is helpful 6 years after that person posted. It also is simply not that easy, nor is that the correct advice.

Just received a call from This number. They knew my name and said because it was a "sensitive business matter" they had to verify my identity and asked for my address. I told them I did not give my information out unless I know who is calling me. They wished me a nice day and hung up. They were not rude, but a legitimate business would not need to request my information like that, and would at the very least identify themselves. The whole incident reeked of a scam.

A Felicia Burns called and said she was looking for (gave my husband's name) and I informed her he passed away. She said " Oh, I'm sorry". And hung up. Strange to not say why she was calling.
