We have received calls from this number for the past 3 days.  I spoke with 2 agents today.  They ask if someone in the household has diabetes.  They say they are "calling on behalf of National Diabetes Association USA"  and gave me the web site for this entity is www.ndausa.net.  They did tell me National Diabetes Association USA in NOT a non-profit organization.  We have told them each time that no one in our household has diabetes and asked them to remove us from their call list. When I asked who they worked for (the name of the company that pays their salary), one agent told me "Interface Techno Incorporated" (best I could understand) and that they were located in "downtown" California.  I kept asking for the company name and city, but after several minutes of silence on their end with background discussions in a foreign language I cannot identify, they hung up.  I tried calling National Diabetes Association USA directly and the number on the web site answers but puts you on hold.  I gave up after 20 minutes.

Showed up on caller ID, didn't answer, right after my answering machine was done with the announcement I heard something that appeared to be similar to a corded phone. There was a long enough delay to where my answering machine registered as it being a message

I am an outbound call center representative in that company. I've been working for just one month and over. EZ medical is our partner in our mission to help those people manage their diabetes by offering them the latest FDA approved testing supplies. It's never been easy for us to take calls to different people around USA.. Some people discriminate us on how we speak the English Language, they told us that we have funny accent. we tried our best just to be comfortable in that language, though it's not our mother tongue..lol. Talking about the nationwide campaign.. YES! we're calling on behalf of the National Diabetes Association, but being with this company right now is not that easy. Our life depends on it. Each time is a bunch of effort which we rendered. Our time of day is too different. We worked over 10pm-7am (Philippine time) while in Eastern Standard time its 10am-7pm ... Every duty, we take more than 300 calls, and most of them will just hung up, and its too painful in our ears, when most of the americans slam the phone. We are used on to that scenario. It made no difference at all. We encountered 5 diabetic people in every 100 calls we made. and out of 5, maybe there is only one which we can assist to with their testing supplies. We asked for the information on their insurance, because in our work orientation before, Diabetic people will just pay for the testing supplies through their insurance not on Cash Basis. We understand why sometimes, they dont give their insurance info, but we told them it will be kept confidential for their privacy. Our work is just to generate sales, and our everyday living depends on it. If we can generate sales, then we can stay in the company, but if we don't get a sale, then they will terminate us. Sounds difficult for us who just strive so hard just to earn something.

.the company told us not to say that we are calling from the Philippines, because there might be a discrimination. but still we are recognized because of our accent. Its still okay in our part. Receiving slam over the phone. Though it hurts, we still continue to work. With that thing, I was convinced that we FILIPINOS were very strong and humble. We maximized our patience and tried to smile after every call. We couldn't force anyone to trust us. But those American who came here in the Philippines, and knew about this work, those are the people who understand us. Because they know that we are dedicated in our work.

For those who received some calls from NDA.. i hope u do understand,, and for those who are diabetic people, im sorry if we've been asking those things. It's part of our work. God Bless You Always...

Then you should not call people who registered on the Do Not Call Registry, and second, we don't take to kindly to outsourcers, since Obama (Black Bush) and White Bush moved all our jobs offshore! I pay US Dollars for my phone I want to talk to Americans only! That's right! I buy American over the phone, or not at all!!! USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA USA.
