stop calling me don't want what you are selling

called my cell 4 times today-why don't they get the hint? called back and got the standard if you want to be removed press one...then they will probably call from another number.
need to get the do not call registry fixed for cell phones.

scam, alarm company.. scam.

How can this be stopped. The calls are every few hours. It is my work phone so I can't turn it off as I am always on call.

These folks just ring the phone and never say anything.

Does anyone know how to stop these calls.  I have tried call blocking but this company uses some method to bypass the call blocking programs.  Using the DO NOT CALL LIST only verifies your number is a working number and does nothing to prevent this company and many others that have been reported.  Something has to be done soon or all land line phones will be a thing of the past.

This number calls and when we finally answer it, they hung up!

I finally answered after days of them calling. It was "Tom from home improvements". I have no idea who they are. I asked them to stop calling and hung up.

Yes, the same thing happens my brother picked up the phone for me and he immediately hung up!

Get 2 to3 calls a day from this number.  Very annoying, seems to always ring when I am really busy.  Who ever this is it needs to be shut down! ugggg

NINE calls in the past 4 days... 2 of them today, Christmas Eve!!!!

Called several times over past couple weeks.  Let it ring while clicking cancel button to turn it off.  Or pick up and do not answer and push call number buttons to make it sound like it is being recorded or transferred - or have a manly voice answer as "sargeant ? " to ask the purpose of this call and it is being monitored.
Scare him - he is a scammer!  Don't waste your time talking with him.  Frankly I don't know if the DNC list is sufficient.  It doesn't stop them.  Call your phone company to see what you can do to prevent these numbers from calling you.
We all don't need this type of stress.

This number has been calling me nonstop since I received my new number in early December. I finally decided to answer them today to tell them to stop calling me. The man on the phone was trying to push me to add a security sign in front of my house for free. I declined the offer, but he refused to hang up because he insisted on speaking with the home owner even though I told him repeatedly that I *am* the home owner. I was trying my best to be respectful, but I finally told him that he was being very irritating and I wanted his company to stop harassing me. He just yelled "goodbye" and hung up on me.

A friend of mine told me that she removed her number from the telemarketers calling list and hasn't received a call since she had her number removed. I'm not sure if it works, but I'm going to do my research and add a link if I find anything useful.

This call is from a robo call machine, and there is not a real person on the other end of the conversation.  The machine is trained to listen for certain answers, and if you answer normally it goes to the next paragraph/question, and it goes on and one until you get to the end and the mechanical voice says; "My job is to find people interested in a free alarm system and I'll have a representative call you."

I suggest you go through the question/answers then let the real person call you, and then you can extract your revenge.  I told the salesman I was a resident of a nursing home and needed an alarm to keep out the mean nurses, and a bunch of other crazy stuff just to screw with him.  It wastes your time, but it really wastes his time.

Of course, notify https://www.donotcall.gov/ but don't expect the calls to stop anytime soon as it cost them nothing to turn on the machine and let it find potential suckers that they can convince they need an alarm system.

Free isn't really free, and the trick is to have you sign a long term "service/monitoring" contract that is impossible to cancel.  If you need/want an alarm system, call someone local you can trust.

Tom from Home security systems is a recording that calls me twice a day for the last 6 months.  I don't know how to get them to quit calling.

I have submitted more than one complaint for this number with "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY"

It doesn't ...I've rec'd 3 from them today on my cell, and 2 yesterday! Despite pressing the #1...

This number calls my phone several times a week.  I ignore it, but it is very irritating.
