I found something else about these boneheads.  I hope it helps.  I wouldn't give them the time of day.  Caller ID rocks!  Just don't pick up or drop it.  You can hit the end-call key as many times as they can call.  If you have good credit, screw 'em.  If you do owe, contact the company you owe and try to work it out.  If you don't want to do anything about your debt, expect the calls.  Times are tough and I sympathize; but if you owed me a lot of money, I would like to have someone bug you to pay me back.

ANNOYING! They call and hang up before answering machine kicks on, and they've NEVER left a message. Thanks to the info I've seen here, I will NOT answer when this number comes up on my caller ID...

I have been getting these calls for months. The phone rings only three times, then hangs up several times most days. When I have answered I can't understand what the person is saying. They sound foreign and I have never had them ask who I was. When I have asked who they were this is when the language becomes unrecognizable.

they call back to back, first number 281-214-1203, then ironically, another call with a different numbe,4345339030, they can't tell me anything about a debt, wehre it started from, the just say I owe and to pay OR ELSE!  How rude!

They are only letting the phone ring long enough to get an answer.  If it rings longer it normally goes to a voicemail (on most home phones).  The reason is that they don't get charged by the phone company for the call unless the call "connects" - either a live answer or voicemail.  Since voicemails are normally ignored there is no bang-for-the-buck in having phone expense.

So, to really mess with them... answer the call by answering - don't say anything - thus they have to pay.  Unfortuanately, if they are calling your cell phone - you'll have a minute charge.

There is someone calling me from your number (434) 533 9030 regarding my mother (Carolyn Fagan).  The woman would not tell me what this involves or give me any information just that it is a debt of my mother's.  My mother has passed away and my father passed away a long time ago.  I cannot answer any questions unless you mail it to my address that you have on file.  We know of no debts that my mother had.  Please communicate with me strictly by mail.

someone who just keep calling and hanging up...dont say anything....

Hey, They probably aren't calling for you then. We changed our phone company and had an $80 outstanding debt (with Embarq/CenturyTel). Within a week, they sent us to this horrible place. They never once called my LISTED phone number... they called every in the phone book with my same last name and harrassed them instead. Problem was, I sent a check in (paying it in full), and 2 weeks later  they were still calling everyone. I called and they told me that it takes up to 30 days to process a CHECK!!!?!? WTF... THEN STOP CALLING I told them. She (again) said they took the other numbers out of the system. LOL!!! I tried to look up their number online and instead there are about 60 pages of harrassment complaints. Just saying, you're not alone. ;)

I just got a call from these people, it went to voicemail and the voicemail said please hold for the next representative ... haha,, yeah right Ill wait.  Thank you samsung for making a cell phone that has a call reject option.  This number is now on that list and will not bother me again.

They are calling my house daily starting at 8:00 AM and going until 9:00 pm. They are wanting someone that does not live here. Please tell us how to stop them. My husband is a lawyer and we are trying to stop this from happening. He has given them several "mouth fulls" the man on the other end of the line is extremely rude. Wish my husband could get ahold of them in court. Anyone with ideas or numbers to call to report them please let post it.

Time for a career chage if your husband truly is a lawyer and cannot get this stopped.

They Call 2 to 3 times a day, finally called back No answer called a second time let go for 10 to 15 minute and had several breaks in ring tones.

Keep calling them back for 2 hrs every 1 min maybe the will get the hint.

Whoever uses this tactic to telemarketing is an idiot! They do NOT observe the law. They called my home at 7:00 am and I have asked to be removed off their list and still with the Damn calls. I am going to report them to the Washington state attorney's office!

These people call every day, several times a day, don't leave a message, hang up when the phone is answered, etc.  I am not the only one that is making these complaints.  They are doing this to many many people.  Can't anyone get them to stop?!?!?
