Guy's I too today received a miss call at around 4:40AM today. I am registered with face book, but doubt that face book might want to place a call. i received the call on my vodaphone. who could be this.

Goodness, why only Indians are getting calls from this number and that also missed calls for many and in the same month. There must be some sort of racket going on somewhere. Seems to be somewhere from Germany, Austria or UK. Strange that people across the whole country are getting it and not any particular city. I also feel that it is coming mostly to Vodafone subscribers. Good that there is such a place where we can atleast come to know about such callers.

I too recieved a miss call from this no: +4382091921652 yesterday night at 3.12 am on 17 dec 2008. i m staying in mumbai. i m an instrumentation engineer. This no: is not of austria. Austrias' country code is +43, this is +438 which is canada.

I had rec miss cal from this no at 5.15pm, i just call on this no it ring once and disconnected i was charge some thing 9.20

Even i recd call from this no. on 17/12/08 @ 1:06 a.m. there's engage tone after calling this no.
I spoke to Vodafone customer care, they are not aware about this but they say if you again receive such missed call log a complaint in nearst Police Station....Lets take necessary action sooner

These numbers are revenue share premium rate numbers.  Many of these numbers are currently being used in a multi-million euro 'missed call' scam targeting numerous other countries.
The scam revenue is being shared between the national networks in each country(Vodafone etc), Telekom Austria TA Aktiengesellschaft and Ambavox

43 is the dialing code for Austria.
0820919216 is the revenue share number and 52 is part of a 100 block (00 to 99)

I too got a call from the same number, but i was sleeping at that time bt when i tried to call it back it was not going.

sorry for the bad writing, i to got a call from this number at 3-45 in the morning.its strange because non of my friends from uk would call at thath hour and certanly nobody calls at thath hour to tell you thath you win somethingts  mmmmmmmmmmmm for me is also strange because the last person contact by this nnumber is in december -and any way - i did not put fone number in facebook or anything alse ......sow?
