Calls 4 times in last 2 days yielding only dead air. Annoying!

lady said she was calling on behalf of google maps.  confirmed address and working hours.
thanked and hung up

Several calls with immediate hang ups over the last couple of days. STOP already!

Had a call claiming they were from Google confirming what our hours of business were?

scam people pretend to be google map locater, avoid them at any cost.

Called asking about if I was open and told me he was from Google Maps?  I told him I was busy and said I would have to call him back!  He said this call is being recorded for quality purposes etc.
So MANY SCAMMERS OUT THERE TODAY
GOOGLE HAS GOT TO GET A Hold of these fakers by the neck and squeeze tightly because they are ruining Google's credibility.

GOOGLE should please tell customers about GOOGLE's to know how to find out if this is GOOGLE

STAY AWAY  FAKE FAKE FAKE  Why wouldn't Google Maps email me in a normal business-like fashion?  Why would someone from Google Maps call me on a phone number that traces nowhere but to this whocallsme.com website and as I can see a total FAKE

They just called & I declined the call. There was a voice-mail with a man very quietly mumbling something, then a woman's voice almost automated repeatedly stating "thanks for taking time to give us feedback. we have one quick questiin for you, which you can answer using your keypad & then you  have a chance to record your own message. On a scale of 1 to 3, three being the best, how satisfied are you with your call experience? I'm sorry, I did not receive a response.-Repeated 4x -We can stop here, thanks again for your time"

The number that showed up on caller id was (438) 788-0460. I have spam protection on my phone so when someone calls me they have to select a specified # on the keypad, basically saying they are not robocallers, survey, spammers etc. For people to get through someone has to listen and follow the instructions, so whomever it is trying to scam people using this number has some patience and seems to be using Google to get our contact info. Maybe Google needs to Amp u security & do something to protect  their customers

Called saying they are google maps and does "SO and so" work here? They said they need to update it for maps but wouldn't let me take a call back number. Hung up on me after that. Glad I wasted her time.

Checked message, they just hang up if no one answers

Said they were google, then asked to speak to the owner or manager. Asked what type of POS used, Square, Clover, told her I didn't know then wanted the names of owner and manager which I wouldn't give.  Total garbage call wasting time for a business.

Calls, then hangs up. No answer. No voicemail. Been in business long enough to know it’s a scam. Block the number and resume your business.

Got call from this #.man claimed from google verified business hours I repeatedly told him not to change anything hours are same but he changed all the schedule . This happened with me a couple of times before and I took 1 month to fix the schedule . I don’t know why they do that .

Claimed to be from google, asked if i was the owner of the business, asked my name, then proceeded to ask what our business used for a POS. I refused to answer what type of POS we used and she refused to take no for an answer. I asked if there was any other questions because i would not answer that. she refused to drop it i hung up.

Received a phone call at 6:11 PM from this number, it only rang a few times, and I missed it. Returned call, answering machine said "Google line for outgoing phone calls only". Whoever this is, listed my hotel as closed, and location on Google maps was changed to 30 km away, exactly at 6:11 PM when that phone call was made!
