Could it be some online casino thing? I have registered to some weird casinos where u have to verify number and today i got call.. Didnt answer though..

They say it's a Skype call... I have a friend from Austria and got called by this number and he was in America before and got called from America in same day from a number. But he's been in Austria for more than 6 months... It's awkward.

I have received two calls from this number today!!!

"My account is too low to accept this call please add money to your account now?!"  Crazy. I don't want their call whoever "they" are.  This is the message when I call back.

Whenever anyone got a phone call from 1111111111, it wasn't a telemarketer, it wasn't because their phone was broken, it wasn't a call from God, instead, it was the New York Times calling. Anytime anyone made a call from inside the NY Times headquarters, 'The Ones' would show up on the caller ID.

The numbers was one of the hallmarks of the NY Times that made the Times the Times. But on August 15th, the 111-111-1111 caller ID number will die and be replaced with a number that's a lot less iconic: 212-556-1234 (their main number). They made the switch because the Times expect a new federal law that requires legitimate caller IDs to pass and also because some companies have blocked out all calls from 1111111111 (so employees don't talk to them).  That ended in August 2011.  It is an illegal number now!!!!!!

I don't  answer, but calls started yesterday and they havebeen continuous, hanging up when answering machine comes on. Calls continued  into the night.

Kinda odd for a number to call me and my phone didn't state the country. Even the number +44-111-111-1111 was weird enough. I didn't pick it up, neither should any of you guys as well. Be cautious
