got a call on 07/05/2013 at 1:20 P.M. Pacific U.S.A.   I have a track phone so I didn't answer.  Who in the world would be calling me from London, United Kingdom?   VERY STRANGE!

They said they were "Booking.com", no caller ID, telling me there'd been fraud emails sent out re bookings at "Dolphin House" London, asking for wire transfers and credit card info. And to ignore them. Kept me on hold for many minutes, costing me over $14.00 in International phone charges.

The telephone rang  but no time to pick up the receiver.When I phoned to that number they told me they did not accept inward calls.They said they were Booking.com but noboby has confirmed it to me yet

Customer Service from Booking.com if you made a reservation through them you could expect to be called, e.g. if your credit card is denied by the hotel, is the hotel is overbooked or for any other important communication
