Just got 5 of these calls from this person. I am in Los Angeles and at first I picked up and heard someone speak an asian dialect and I said wrong number. Now they keep calling me back - but i just ignore.

I think that t mobile sells their prepaid cell #s so that you have to buy more minits. That is the only thing that I can figure out here. I buy my minits directly from them, using my phone, I have never given the phone # to anybody. Nobody at T mobile will help me with this problem.They say I must have given the number out accidently. I live in Ohio and have never been out of the country and do no overseas ordering of any kind. So I know that T mobile has something to do with the continious calls.

I also received the call in Nebraska, but don't have TMobile. I have free incoming calls with a different carrier. Again, no one spoke when I answered the call (thought it was my boyfriend calling from out of country). So, what's the point for them to make the calls?

I called my boyfriend - it WAS him calling, using an out-of-country telecom calling center. Perhaps this number is just one of the routing paths for international phone calls. Like I said, I never heard anyone talking, but when I called him back he said he could hear me on the other end of the line, so perhaps they've just got very [***] connections causing all the silence.

Just got a call from 442087921030.  I did not answer it and they did not leave a message.  I looked up the country code and it is listed to the UK.  I have T-Mobile.

I got a call from this number and no one said anything.  Is this a legitimate call.

I got a call from the exact same number and answered it...nothing, then they hung up...

I just got a call from that number too! They called once and I did not answer and then called back 5 minutes later, I answered and a hispanic male talking spanish said a few words and hung up.

I then did a search on the number and found this thread... very weird.

My Girlfriend just got a call on her t mobile cell from this number in Pennsylvania.  I turned out to be here brother calling her from Ohio using a calling card

I received a call this morning at 7am.  I immediately recognized the 44 country code as a UK code.  Many Nigerian scams are now using UK as a calling center to make it a little more legitimate looking. I know this because I am police officer and I have taken many reports from scam victims that have shown me UK phone numbers beginning with 44.   The city code "208" refers to the "outer city" part of London.  Be wary of anyone calling themselves a "Barrister" or something similar.  I am in Oregon, by the way.  I have had my T-Mobile number since 2001 and this was my first phone call.

This number is a routing path for a prepaid calling card.  The reason you are hearing foreign dialect is because the moron using the card misdialed and of course doesn't speak english.  Most people who use calling cards are not very smart.  If you are not expecting a call from someone who doesn't have access to regular phone, just don't answer.  If they aren't smart enough to leave a message, screw 'em.

The stalker called me Sunday, Jan 6, 2008 at 2:15pm, listened a moment and hung up.  I didn't look at my caller ID until after disconnection then tried reverse directory 442-087-921030. Either it's a calling card or coming from London. I'm in Ann Arbor, MI!

I got a call from this number at 6:00 yeaterday. I only picked up because my parents use skype and it never shows up as the same number. Im in Van, BC.

I actually has a conversation with the guy. He had this nervous laugh after every question i asked him. He said he was calling from Santa Cruz and his name was Oscar.. asked if i understood english. he was very hard to understand and he was talking about seeing me later and i think he said something about calling tomorrow.

After about 7 minutes he hung up and called back and hung up after one ring. About 8 minutes later he called back for another 2 minutes. He told me he got the number from his brother in Toronto and when I said that was irrelevant he said he has a sister in Vancouver. When i wouldnt drop the subject of how he got my number, he laughed nervously and hung up. Im with Rogers.
