They called asking for Shirley Temple.  I pressed 1, and got to a person.  They asked if I was shirley temple.  I asked what are they selling?  They said they were not selling anything.  They said they were calling to verify the number on the account.  I said account with who?  They said the account in my computer.

This was on 9/12/1008 at around 1:30pm cst.  I told them remove my number from his "computer" and never call it again.

I've been getting calls from this number and several others for some time.  One of them was traced to a company claiming to be doing something for the Democratic Party.   I don't believe that is the actual point of origin, but these calls are a nuisance

Got this call today at 7:33PM.  All it says is Arbutus, MD and no message left.  I also don't answer calls I don't recognize.  Googling the number brought me here.  Just don't answer it.  Can't be that important if they don't leave a message of any kind.

I also get this call on a business line that MUST be answered.  They immediately hang up without a word (recorded or otherwise).  WTF?

We are listed on the "No Call List" do they count?

I don't know who this number belongs to, but they call and I did answer it was a computer voice telling me to dial a number...I didn't catch the number. I just hung up.  I thought it was super odd.  Any ideas?    number443-701-463

i got the same phone call

I keep getting these calls, eaarlier from another number about 3 or 4 a day for a person I know.  Can't get rid of them.  now started getting them from this number.  Can't get them to stop.  They know info for the person they are calling, address, etc., where they work.

This company had better not call our office at all hours of the night anymore. They have been reported to the Federal Trade Commission and they will be contacting this stupid company within the next few days.

I got a call from this number asking to speak to someone that used to do minor repairs for me a few years ago, but who has never lived at this address.

Answered the phone they asked for a name that I dont know asked me to push buttons to answer quetsions, one question is this a wrong number?? Yes you idiots!!!

I to have no Debt on my credit report yet still receive these calls. i studied the link above ( http://www.chargeoff.net/associated.htm )They have links to www.lexingtonlaw.com . I find it really interesting that on the lexington site they sell Debt recovery. Why would a supposed Debt collector have links to a "company " that sells "debt recovery and deletion" ? The two should be financial mortal enemies!!! I my opinion this is ALL a scam. Track your right in this situation. Start here - http://business.ftc.gov/advertising-and-marketing/telemarketing . I would advise to find out who these people are and sew the crap out of them. Every last one of us! Please note, in some states (Maryland for example) if someone calls you more than twice without your permission for any reason, you have the right to file criminal charges!!!! They have called me 4 times today and I'm already trying to track these people down. This scam WILL get what it deserves, a shut down and fine!!!!!!!!!

got 2 calls in 2 days. Thank God there is this site. But I am sick to death that we can't just regulate our phone better. We can everything else. I am sick to death of spammers, interest groups, etc..
