I received in the last three days five calls a day at different times, also in the evening. I could not get the calls, and when I called back a recorded voice said it was from HSBC bank and that no further actions were required from me.

I think this is HSBC's Master Card fraud protection team. They call if they think your card has been stolen to check your transactions - don't ask any person details. Just if the transactions on your card are by you, and if the card needs to be cancelled.
