Just got a call in Michigan come on marketers

Vacation advertisment saying I won something...hung up.

Received a call in TX this morning on cell phone, no message left.  Area code is in Arizona.

Machine dialing. The only thing you can do is blacklist or block it.

I called back it was a infomecial thing, someone had given by number to earn point on a Vacation. bla blah blah.

just got one, didn't answer, no message, also today got a call from another unknown.  seems that one is a local cable co solicitor in Boulder, CO.  HHMMMMMMMM wonder if they are connected as i have never had these types of calls before today, and looking at the website, guess i have been lucky.

those do not call lists are sold to telemarketing firms.

They just called me (1:15pm CST) in San Antonio, on my cell. The number looked strange as hell, I mean (480) area code? So I answered and instantly hung up--that way they couldn't even leave a voice-mail. Course, from what I read here, they usually don't even say anything anyway.  Go figure!  I hate telemarketers!

Thanks everyone.  My Android phone has a block caller feature. I have a contact named Spammer that I have calls blocked.  I just keep adding these numbers to that contact so I never see them again.  Gonna have to add a new contact (Spammer1) for the next call tho, I've used all the entries for this one.

Florida vacation scam!  They get your credit card number then look out!!!  I pressed "1," got someone to answer, released a whole lot of expletives, told them never to call again, and suggested what they could do with the handset.  Then I reported the number to the Do-Not-Call Registry. If enough of us take this kind of action, perhaps these folks would get the idea that the DNC means that.  Besides, you feel better after that bit of tension release.

Just received a call from them.  Did not pick up and they left no message.
