- Hg & Vg {Anonymous}We called this place and spoke to someone live..we asked about all these instances and about how they obtained our info based on the letter we received...the guy sounded nice..very convincing...but after a couple of minutes of questioning..he started getting nervous and stuttered..we asked about their office in Toledo, Ohio, and he said it was the main branch..that they are expanding to the phoenix area..a total of 13 offices within the next 9 yrs..or so..
they obtain info on you from "hotels, rentals, flights, etc" that you have taken within the past month..or more..
although we have NEVER flown, rarely rented any vehicles or hotel/motel rooms etc, he said that is how he obtained our personal info..
Which is incorrect!!
This is such a SCAM! We just wanted to see what they would say..they don't even answer professionally.."Stewart collins" that's all they said..
after everything and the stuttering, we let him know we thought it was a scam, and we were going to report it to the BBB..
we also said we were recording him..and as soon as we said it, he got really nervous and said " if that's what you think, that this is a scam, goodbye."- Caller: awards redemption

I have not had "several" attempts (or any for that matter).
There are quite a few comments on their alternate number 480-374-5761, check those out as well. - AMI got the very same letter and checked the web page listed on the bottom of the stationary. It is very simple and any high school kid could have put up the page on the internet. I dont enter contests so I dont know how I qualify for any awards. I'm happy to report that I checked the web and did not call them back.
- BrianI got the same letter and phone calls. There is a good "consumer beware" article posted by abc15.com:

I've copied it here in case the above link goes inactive:

They come in the mail and are full of appealing words. The letter reads "I'm pleased to inform you have qualified for a reward of 2 airline tickets. Congratulations."
It intrigued Robert Foxworth who received the letter because it promises up to a $1400 value.
The letters come from a company called Haworth Campbell or one named Stewart Collins. Both have the same Phoenix post office box. We found dozens of people are questioning the letters on the internet.
There's no mention of cost. So what do you really get?
We asked Robert to call the number in the letter. It turns out it's a pitch from a travel club called Vacation Network.
We attended the sales pitch with Robert. And we expected to get the airline tickets afterwards for listening. Instead, we got a registration folder demanding $100 bucks and a $4.95 processing charge.
"Ewww, I thought that's not free, you know that's really cheesy," says Cie Scott.
Cie says she and her husband went to a similar pitch months ago in Glendale and paid $135 for "free tickets."
"Did I get the airline tickets? No, I didn't even get a follow up," Cie says.
That company was not Vacation Network. But recently, Cie says she got a letter from them and went to hear the pitch.
"Surprise, surprise, the guy who's the sales manager happens to be the same guy from the other one. The guy who was the manager there was the manager here," she says.
This time, Cie says she didn't get a promised $100 gas card either.
Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard received a similar call.
"The prospect of a $1400 round-trip ticket for no effort on your part? As soon as I see that all the alarm bells go off and I say what's the catch, because I know there is one," Goddard says.
At their Scottsdale address, a Vacation Network manager defended the fee. He says it pays for taxes. He also says the incentive is handled by a different company. And he says the letters contain the words "certain restrictions apply" which means there could be costs involved.
Cie and her husband received a letter from the gas card business. It says they didn't follow the rules, so the card is invalid. The couple says they did everything right.
Bottom line, even if something says "award", expect it will cost you one way or another. - MattJust got a similar letter. Phone number listed is 480-374-5756. I'm sure Jennifer Pratt is trying her best to contact me since:
"We [She] have attempted contacting you several times without success. This is our last attempt."
It's personally signed...A nice touch.
Save your time and don't respond to unsolicited letters like this. Read the ABC 15 news post. It's a total scam. "Certain restrictions may apply." You bet they do.- Caller: Stewart Collins
- KristinNov. 25, 2008 ----I got the exact same letter as above signed by "Jennifer Pratt, Vice President, Travel Awards Division" with a slightly different phone number - 480-374-5756. I am glad I found this information - I knew if was fishy! They used a name I have not used in 6 years and I knew no one had tried to contact me - PLUS, there is NO RETURN ADDRESS on the envelopes - first sign of fishiness!!! Who can I report this to?
- anonJust got the same letter from the same Jennifer Pratt of Coleman Hayes, this time listing a Dallas phone number and address.
- Caller: Stewart Collins
- PAULGot the Letter from Jennifer Pratt with Colemany Hayes. . .
www.awardsredempton.com seemed like a possible place to log onto to actually redeem an award or gain additional info. This is simply a means to draw you closer to contacting the company, i.e. responding to the letter.
I guess stating that “Certain restrictions apply” in some minds justify suggesting that an award has been won, and then charging a fee for it.
Internet really helps as the postings let us know right away that this is a waste of time.
Letter will be placed where it belongs – in the Round File. . .
Thanks ABC15.com for the report.- Caller: COLEMAN HAYES
- DennyI just checked the web after receiving a Coleman Hayes letter from Jennifer Pratt. The address was hand written which made me suspicious. I'm glad I checked. Wouldn't you think a decent scammer would at least have the capability to type their letters?
Sometimes I'll play along with these for a while just for fun, but this wan't even worth the time.
Thanks everybody! - RyanReceived the letter for 214-306-5812. I was also made curious by the hand written address and signature, which is obviously what they are going for...
Regard this letter like any other scam letter or better yet call repeatedly and waste their time.- Caller: Coleman Hayes

- KayJust got that letter in the mail yesterday and I knew it didn't seem real.
At first I thought it was some Time Share company trying to get us to come in for their crappy gifts that also come with tons of restrictions.
I haven't received any calls from anyone and then a letter like this saying they attempted contacting me several times without success.
They number on this one is 480-374-5764.
Coleman Hayes, signed by Jennifer Pratt.
I checked their website on the letter and knew that was not a professional website. Glad I confirmed it was a scam by running across this website.
Thanks - J BrownYes, I do got the letter from Coleman Hayes, signed by Jennifer Pratt. When I googled Coleman Hayes, this site came up. glad I didn't waste my time caling them.
- MarkJust got that same letter, and the phone number is 480-374-5764 on my letter. Thanks for providing a place to post the scam. Maybe we can show these jerks that this kind of scam is a thing of the past with the advent of the internet.

- Dan P.I just received the letter here, in Dallas. Thanks everyone for the information. It is amazing that people would attempt these kinds of scams in light of a little thing called the "Internet". Idiots.

- MaryReceived same letter but knew before I opened it, it was a scam. You know by the hand written address on the envelope & no return address. They mentioned 2 roundtrip airline tickets with retail value up to $1,400.00. These people are probably highschoolers or college kids who don't want to earn money but steal it. Karma will get them in the end!
