called cell phone on 1/19/12 at 9:38 am. Did not answer, no message left.  Phone states that this call is from AZ, USA.

Just missed their call. Glad I checked before returning it.

I got a call @ 0922 CST, if that helps anyone.

I wish they would not call an honor the do not call registry.  What can we do to have these people quit calling all hours of the day and night.  They do the same with my home phone - I don't answer unless I know who's calling.

Called at 10:10 AM today on my landline.  Was in a room with phone with no Caller ID, but was awaiting a call from a DOCTOR, and didn't have time to get to another phone, so picked up.  RECORDING started saying they were "AMS Research" (or possibly "EMS...") saying, "...your number has be carefully selected to receive a survey regarding our nations debt crisis..." at which point I hung up.  I am familiar with this ploy/SCAM from other posts regarding OTHER numbers that have called me and others.  Caller ID on other phones displayed "Arizona"; I checked afterward.

A SCAM using so-called 'research' to circumvent the DNC List LAWS to eventually get to the point where they can try and get one's CREDIT CARD NUMBER for FRAUDULENT PURPOSES.

So, I guess these SCAMMERS have moved on to a new number, just today or so.

I USUALLY Follow my own advice and DO NOT ANSWER these calls, but, like I say, I was expecting an IMPORTANT medical call and was victimized - in my own home - because of it. (I need to get a new phone in that room; that will solve THAT!)

PEOPLE:  We need to start LOBBYING for a NEW RULE ATTACHED to the DNC List:  ALL PEOPLE SUFFERING CHRONIC HEALTH PROBLEMS SHOULD GET A "STAR" (*) NEXT TO THEIR NUMBER ON THE LIST, AND ANYONE WHO CALLS THESE IN VIOLATION OF THIS LIST SHOULD HAVE THE PENALTIES TRIPLED, SO THAT WE CAN KEEP OUR PHONE LINES OPEN FOR IMPORTANT MEDICAL CALLS.  Will you help me on this???

The message they left on my phone said they were a survey regarding the nation's debt crisis. Probably not legit, though.

This number called my area code 508 cell - I didn't pick up

Received the call at 10:03am on my cell.  Answered and it disconnected immediately.  From my PRIVATE UNLISTED number, I called back and it said "You were called to participate in a survey but the time for that survey has expired.  If you would like to not be called for future surveys, press 2 now."  Pressed 2 and it repeated the same message.

Got a call @ 9 am MST from 480-535-5740 but did not answer. They did not leave a message either.

No message left , comes from Arizona

I can tell you from experience that this will not work. Unfortunately, all this does is tell their computer that they reached a working number, with a person who is 'curious' about them, and the calls will likely INCREASE to that number.

The SCAMMERS also pass the 'good' numbers around and you get MORE calls from MORE numbers.

About all you can do, if you can, if program your phone to BLOCK these numbers or put it in your cell as 'SPAM" or "DNA" (Do Not Answer) and put those numbers to 'ring' on "SILENT" if you can (Different phones have different features).  They still will call, but you won't be bothered as much.

did not answer and got no voice mail

Phone rang, I answered, phone call terminated, I called back, got a recording stating that I had been "contacted"  for a survey and time time alloted for the survey had expired.

Just received a call from 480-535-5740 to area code 617 cell phone on DNC lists. Caller ID said "AZ". Answered call but no one on other end. Make sure to report to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm .

Called my cell at 11:40. I id not answer, no message left.
