Received a phone call too. Also no message left.

called me at the office and thought we are a private household.

Have received a call from +492317257820, evening time, quite disturbing.
The lady said she is calling for FORSA to collect data from private households.
I told her that we are not interested at all.
Immediately her voice sounds very unpolite.
Now the number is stored and firewalled in my FRITZ box, no more incoming calls by this nerds!!

Forsa is an official institute for market research. But to me too, they were quite impolite, i did not expect that

Called me several times as I was not on my desk. I once called back as I thought it might be a person I know and a robot voice told me it is forsa. This is in Germany. I really wonder if this is legal to disturb people in evening times several times to get some data from them. The data is sold to companies later.

I called there as I can't block numbers. They promised to take my number off.

I am late here, but Forsa is just a geman institute that collects political and economic data. They ask people in Germany for example the "sunday question" - "for which party would you vote if the next elections were next Sunday". They also ask questions for institutions, political parties (as far as i am aware) and maybe companies. Nobody can be forced to answer them, but of course they have to call - randomly - people, otherwise there would be no scientific electoral studies and political surveys.  They ask about politics, but also about how you feel your income will be in one year, and so on. To me the person who asked me was quite friendly (but they are underpaid, as so many workers who have to work in call centers.) So don't answer if you don't feel like, but it does no harm and helps to understand politics and what people actually think (or what the media told them^^).
