just received 2 calls from this id: 496939018532. Caller would not identify him/herself. fun times.

+496939018532 called me too; while I was on the bus and I could not answer. Strange thing is, my cell-phone is never appeared on the web as some of yours had. It is a private number. Maybe they started to adopt a random-number type of calls. But for what, bahamas fraud?

I recieved a lot of calls from this nr approx.10 in last few days, and once i was trying to call back, there was an answer that this nr doesn't exist, so now i hav lot of calls that are NO NAMED. So if someone knows whats this bull [***] is about please let me know. Thx in advance from Lettland (Latvia, Europe)

I just had a missed call from this number. Fotrunately, I didnt call back. Im from Czech republic, my phone number appears on my web.

Before 5 minuts I had also missed a call from this number.It was very short.I hadnt got enough time to answer the phone.I didnt call back.And I am very surprised that there are so many messages about this number.I am from Czech Republic.

His name is Damir Beaković. There are complaints all over the internet about nuisance calls from him.  He seems to be misusing Skype (perhaps without realising it) and is troubling people in Russia, Germany, UK, USA, Croatia, Bahamas, Qatar, China and Korea. The problem is, how to stop him.

He appears to be Croatian. Does anyone know enough Croatian to be able to e-mail him and tell him to pack it in?

I got 5 or 6 calls from this No and all at inappropriate time- I was either driving or just not available. However, the calls were long but since I was not able to pick up i missed them. I got in the period from 1st February to 6th February. It's strange... If this number is fake and is intended to deceive...why should the person using it call me so many times?? Ring for a long time???

I am worried. At first i thought that some officials from the university i recently applied to were calling me to confirm some information or get additional one. The repeated calls and the duration of the rings perturbed me even more.. which led me to the thought that it really were some of the officials. I tried to find this number in the list of contacts of the offices in the university but found none like that one. Moreover, the code is different- if it were from the university the code wouldn't have been from Frnakfurt am main but from Bremen.

I now doubt whose this number is... but i really have to know. I tried to call back but it turned out that the number was incomplete or non-existing.

Now a call to Finland,but I didn´t answer in time. I also was perhaps winning
Bahama Cruise on Internet Lottery and when I called the Lady (said to be in Miami?) tried to ask my Visa number, but I don´t have a credit card. She said
that they can´t send a win proof by mail. Then I promised to call again if I get a card. Now I know it to be nonsense. All kind of robbery tactics...

Just picked up the phone: a guy asked me if i could hear him clearly and if i could see the phone nr... he told me that he called for an international phone company. strange.

Guys, perhaps that's obvious but still I explain - someone of your acquaintances who dislikes you is simply playing tricks on you making calls via Skype when you are supposed to be disturbed by a call. Or it may be an unfamiliar [***] who finds that funny...

on skype is roboismyname and this number. he is from zurich, language slovak. but i think its not true.

Skype has a relay centre in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany, which makes sense, as 004969 is the area code for that city. I still think that the contribution from Alan Kendall is exactly right, especially as the caller is named,(and even has his photograph!) on the link that Mr. Kendall has provided.
