someone from (501) 781-2208 keeps calling and hanging up. How do we stop this from happening? I am on the do-not-call list but that doesn't seem to make a difference anymore. Some how my number was given to this caller and today I answered and all i heard was breathing then they hung up.

This number has called my home phone repeatedly after I asked them to take my name off of their calling list.  When I asked who it was that was calling they hung up.  I am so sick of these types of calls.

Did some digging. This is the IUPA or the International Union of Police Associations. They are based in Sarasota, Florida, but use a commercial solicitation service to make these annoying calls. This company, LAS, LLC is based in Washington, DC with an address of 4200 Wisconsin Ave Suite 106-115 Washington, DC 20016-2143. HARASS THIS ADDRESS. Oh, the phone number is 202-393-0220. You can go onto www.sos.wa.gov to look this info up with the registration number being #233. HARASS THIS PHONE NUMBER IF POSSIBLE!! Make sure to block your number, the same as they do or they even use numbers such as, 626-521-5695,501-781-2208. So, I just called them and hung up on them..LOL!!

They keep bugging me I don't answer, and I'm on the no all list...

BEWARE: UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM ARTISTS. I have an unlisted phone # and am on the Do Not Call registry, but, nevertheless, received a call from this # which is listed in Arkansas. The Caller ID showed "Public Safety", they had my name and said they were calling on behalf of disabled/wounded veterans (by the way it is Veteran's Day, what a perfect time to scam people). The woman said her name was Sabrina and that she was a paid solicitor. She asked how are you tonight. I said fine, but then politely asked if they would remove me from that list. This woman then launches into how she wishes that veterans did not have to lose their lives and limbs for "sorry ass*oles like you". I told her "I AM a veteran" and she goes "no you are not" and then hung up.  I looked up the phone # and see others have noted it is a scam organization that is very pushy and constantly requesting $ on behalf of various organizations (breast cancer, reducing internet predators, etc...). If you are savvy and don't just listen to their line of BS, asking for verifiable information, they hang up on people or cuss them out like this jerk did tonight.

Call from this number.  Caller ID showed as "Public Safety".  When I answered....no one responded,  but could hear voices in the back ground.  One said "they picked up on first ring".  When I redialed the number, I got an automatic message from the phone company saying that the number had been disconnected or was no longer in service.  

The person calls asking for a charitable donation but will not give address information of the charity. This is a SCAM.

Telemarketers calling using some kind of phone proxy so it will show different numbers from different states. I got 4 call in 2 hours and 9 minutes (according to my caller ID). All 4 were the same person, 2 were from the same number and the other two were different numbers
