Got 2 calls: one at 12:04 p.m. and next at 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2012.   Could hear lot of people talking on phones, like telemarketer room.  First call I kept saying "no, no, no" (before anyone talked) and hung up.  Second call, I heard start of woman saying "how to lower my interest rates" so just hung up again.  I am on both Indiana and federal do not call lists, but these crooks do not care.  Caller I.D. only says "out of area" so do not even know where they are calling from.  Jerks.

Calls daily, about lowering credit card interest rate, not interested, still calls.

These jerks have called here 4 times today, twice leaving a message. Also on DNC list.

they called me, but i never answered because i did not recognize the area code.

Multiple robo calls to cell phone.  When I was able to speak to a person, they hung up on me when I asked them to stop calling.  They have continued to call.

The state's top attorney is lauding a government crackdown on the "robocalls" that seem to have a tendency to interrupt dinner.

"There are so many people who are just sick and tired of calls both to their cellphones but in particular to their landlines, and the new rule is going to prevent robocalls, automatic calls, going to your cellphone as well as your landline," Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan said Wednesday.

The Federal Communications Commission said Wednesday that it will now require telemarketers to obtain written consent from people before placing a robocall. Written does not mean handwritten, though -- electronic forms are OK.

The new rules also eliminate a loophole that allowed telemarketers to place robocalls if they had an "established business relationship" with the consumer. Now, they will have to obtain consent even if they had previously done business with the person they want to call.

Telemarketers will also have to provide an automated way for people to revoke their consent to the robocall by pressing a few keys on their phone during the call. If this happens, the new rules require telemarketer to add the person to the company's do not call list.

Chicago's Citizens Utility Board said the move will also be a good one for the telemarketers.

"From the telemarketer's standpoint, it's less phone calls they have to make, it's less people who you're pitching who are never going to say yes," said CUB spokesman Patrick Deignan.

The FCC said it is not changing rules that apply to informational robocalls, such as airline flight updates, school notifications or warnings about suspicious bank account activity.

The FCC and the Federal Trade Commission already had rules aimed at preventing unwanted marketing calls. But the FCC said despite this, "too many telemarketers, aided by autodialers and prerecorded messages, have continued to call consumers who don't want to hear from them."

Recorded call received on my cell phone from "card services." I hung up without listening to more.

Caller is a "courtesy call" and "there is not a problem with your account" they want to lower my interest rate. Is a recorded message. I made a complaint with the "Do Not Call" registry.  If everyone who receives a recorded message from this phone number and your number is registered not to receive telemarketing calls it may help. Though once again, the "Do Not Call" registry appears to be completely worthless, I receive typical calls frequently and can't seem to stop them.  503 an Oregon area code, my son lives in Oregon so I answered not wanting to miss the call if it was an emergency and someone was trying to reach me on his behalf.

Tiffany/Rachel from cardholder services... - this is a scam company in the midst of a lawsuit!

Continue to get calls even though I am registered on DNC list and have asked them to stop calling me .... the Do Not Call List is a JOKE ... EMAIL THEM AND TELL THEM SO !!

Got this call on my cell.  Did not pick up but googled the number.  Seems as this is a scam call.

Caller ID said LOWER INTEREST, didn't answer it.

On the do not call list. They called my phone but I didn't pick up since i didn't recognize the number.

This number is being "Spoofed" by  Delta Outsource Group, a collection agency located in O'Fallon, MO.  They will try and gather enough information to create an account.  Many bank accounts have been drained by this establishment and many "Spoofed" phone numbers have been fraudulently used to aquire information.

The infamous "Rachel" also "starring" on (888)712-0491. These people are merely living, breathing giant peices of feces! Oh, I have "fun" with them when I can get a live person on the line. Waste their time, give them bull**** information and play "dumb" with them. It's so pleasurable to annoy them. It's pure satisfaction. Other times I'll dial their number, wait for an "operator" to answer and merely put them on hold and forget them. I did this nine times last week. I hope it pissed them plenty:)
