I've received several calls from this number.  When I call back, I get a recording:  if I want to be on the do not call list, press "1".  I press "1" and I still get calls.  Location is Astoria, OR.  If there's anyone out there that can cease this action, I would appreciate it.

Cardmember Services I think it was... the lady told me that since I was current on my Visa and Mastercrd payments I was eligible for something (I didn't hear her because i was laughing too hard) she wanted my CC info... which made me laugh harder. If they were legit, they would have the info... and since I don't have any cards it's even funnier... as soon as I said "Oh really? I don't have..." she hung up before I could finish the sentence. Filed a complaint at the donotcall site, not that it ever seems to do any good, but filed it anyway.

Since the Do Call Registry does not serve it's purpose in stopping these unwanted callers I have another idea and hopefully it will work. If everyone that is listed on the Registry and continue to get these calls try this idea. It's time to begin a petition and send it the Govt including the President. If they get enough of these petitions allowing the Media to be aware of it too maybe they will do something about it. Just google Free online petitions and there are several sites that will assist you in creating one. Create another free email address just for the purpose of the petition to avoid spammers when the petition goes around.

I definitely agree with number 2.  If you have the time, then waste their time.  I got a second call from these guys just now, and after researching what their setup was, I had my game plan laid out.  I'd get them to the point where they asked for my credit card number and say "4124 don't ever call me again."  I didn't even get the chance to do that!  She asked me how much I owed on my card so I gave a vague "not a lot, but this would certainly help."  She said, "do you have a number?"  I said, "is that something you need to share with me?"

"Sir, have a nice day."  She hung up.  Ah well.

Noticing that iphone users are getting this one alot - is there a connection here?

I just got a call from this number (503-468-5002) - was a robo call (Astoria, OR) regarding a credit card interest rate change (6%) and was asked to select 1 on my key pad to be directed to an agent.

So some ghetto due answered, could hardly understand his English (yes, he's American) and promptly hung up on me when I mentioned that I did not own a credit card.

When you call the number back, it rings twice and disconnects.  

These guys are obviously up to something illegal - since the authorities are not going to do anything, it would be nice to get back at these people somehow...

an automated message says they can "lower my credit card interest rates" pressed 1 to talk to a person. Told the guy that answered i do not have any credit cards and to please stop calling. They hung up on me. This has happened twice in last 2 weeks. Registered w do not call. If they call again im reporting them. Plus even if I did have credit cards, why in the hell would I give a complete stranger/thief/scammer all my info??????????

This and other robots keep on calling. All from Oregon and California. My phone is on all of the Do No Call Registries. SPAM! never picked up the phone and they never left a message.

Received a missed call from this number on my cell phone...I guess after reading - I'm glad I missed it.  I am also on the do not call list...what the heck????

got a call from this # answered it and no one was there...tried to call back and let them know that I am on the no call listing, and it didn't even ring.

On the Do Not Call List, but recieved several times on my cell. I never answer, but very annoying!!

IVE REPORTED YOU TO THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE OFFICIALLY TODAY !!!!  I ask to speak to someone, get their name and ask to not be called and am immediately hung up on....  Im taking it further today, this is harrassment from some Debt consolidation/lowering program that is calling my cell #

Same as most on this post...called on my cell, saying that it was "my last chance to lower my debt" on my credit card or my account would be closed.  I also, am on the Do Not Call Registry and have all phone numbers listed.
