I got suspicious when the credit card bill was sent in only a week late and started receiving calls claiming from Wells Fargo, Oregon number.so I called Wells Fargo myself. they are not Wells Fargo, its a scam!

This number is a pain in the a**! I get 10 or more calls a day. DO NOT give info they ask for. I stopped answering the call when it comes in, but they continue to call.

Calls several times a day, it just hangs up.

Called on a Sunday

I finally spoke to one of them and the guy was African. Like I'm really supposed to discuss financial matters with a Nigerian! At least change your name from Makotoobi to Mike.

Calls numerous times a day, when I answer, hangs up...goung in for months

They have call six times this morning and left no message.  No one was home to answer. This has happened several times in the last six years. They will call for about three weeks and then give up for awhile and then start it again.  Why the feds have not taken action is beyond me.  At least a couple of years ago a local TV station in Oregon did an investigation on this scam.

If they sold the debt to a collector, telling them to stop won't help.

she wanted my social security number to verify and account. told her no...........she wanted my name told her she can call me Mrs. Black. she said the name on the account is different and they won't bother me again.
