I suggest that everyone file a complaint with the Florida BBB. It's very simple.

Here's a good read: http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/busines ... 4161/complaints

Nuisance call. All I heard was a recording "hello, this is John"...before I hung up. Only answered it as was waiting for another phone call and just in case such call was coming in from another number. Usually I don't answer unidentified numbers.  Really don't appreciate these nuisance calls.

Call came to my cell phone 2 hours but did not answer it and no message left.

scammers again.
don't bother reporting them to the donotcalllist or whatever.
it won't work.

Scam. No answer after Hello

I received a SPAM call from this number today. Like many others who received this call - I"m sure it is from the same scam outfit using software to fake the origin numbers (like phishing emails). I did not answer the call.

From what I've learned - and messages they have left behind in the past - they have several scams.

One is that they pretend to be a political survey (as political calls are not blocked by the do not call list) - but they quickly try to convince you that you won some gift - and they will ask for your credit card number to pay for taxes and fees. Or some variation of the above scam, like offering to reduce your credit card interest rate. They always come back to the credit card - be aware!

I've added this number to my blocked list - so I will never be bothered again. If you cannot block calls - just add the number to your phone book, with "No Name" and set the ringer to silent. You will not be bothered as often.

I think the FTC is pretty useless if they can't track and trap these abusers of our phone system. Remember - they are NOT a legitimate business - they are criminals/scammers trying to get your credit card number so they can defraud you. Don't even answer the phone, don't call back, just block them...

Here's a few more numbers they have called from (the Caller ID can be fooled - don't forget that!)

I'd love to see the criminals doing hard time.

Keeps calling a restricted personal cell..leaves no vm

I am a teacher, cannot receive phone calls of any nature while I am at work. Only ONLY emergencies. This people call me with stupid things, just want them to stop. Do not want to waste my time in surveys,  If I wanted a cruise I would simply buy it.
