The call is a common scam, it comes from a robo-dialer with a masked number so you cannot call them back. They ask about lowering your credit card rates. When asked about what credit card company they are calling from they tell you they work with all companies and "all they need" are your credit card numbers and expiration dates. At this point I advised the gentleman I knew it was a scam and it was being reported the the FTC and DNC registry. The rep then got verbally aggressive and combative.

This is an unsolicited call. I am the no call list

Got a call from 5039028297 and pressed 1.  I asked representitive who it was and she said Account Services.  She then asked if I had over $4,000 in credit card debt.  I said no and she hung up.

Im on a "No Call" list but got this today on my cell phone, I never answer a call I do not recognize, however, I always check and find it's one of these annoying calls.

I would like to know the name of the credit card company that called me on my cell phone from this number.  I punched 1 to get them to take me off their list and they hung up on me (no shock).

Called Business Cellphone/Mobile at approximately 10:00am Central Time on Saturday, September 24, 2011. Did not leave a message. Another Business Cellphone/Mobile was called the day before by a Phishers claiming to be from Citizen's Bank so the SCAM/Phising rate is up for our company. I dont know if the two are related but it's Fishy-or Phishy-sorry, had to do it. LOL!

I got a telephone call from this number 503-902-8297.  I do not know anyone in Oregon.  I do know that when someone calls me from that number they deplete my cell phone of minutesl.  I do not want to receive any more telephone calls from this number and have not authorized or approved them to access my telephone number.

"Card services" offering to lower my interest rate. They called my cell phone which is also on the Do not call list.  Of course the caller ID signature is forged.  This is no surprise.  It is such a non-surprise that I have my table of random numbers handy, along with customer service numbers of some credit companies where I don't have my accounts.
So I had her waste time looking up a 16 digit beginning with 4 for VISA (it's 5 if I want to be Mastercard), and calling a number whose system will answer and tell her there is no account.  I hung up and then hung up on three call backs.  The call backs displayed number 1-970-672-7135.  Using my land line and *67 to mask my caller ID, calling that number brought up a recorded message that the voice mail had not be set up.

I've never bothered trying to talk these "Card Services" people because their automated message already tells me something's wrong.  I've gotten these calls from phone numbers in Iowa, New York and now Oregon.  These punks sure do get around!
