Called my cell

Called on my cell phone today at 9:37 a.m.  I didn't answer because I don't know this # and they left no message.

My cell phone rang at exactly 8:00AM....I m usually asleep at this time of the morning since my job keeps me up until the wee hours of the morning...I didn't recognize the number so I did not pick up the call thinking if it is important they would leave a message.  They did NOT leave a message.  I am on the Do Not Call list so this is VERY aggravating...can someone (the phone company) block this number? Can someone do anything to file charges for harrassing phone calls on these people?

Called my cell too. I ignored it. Am also on the DNC registry.

Got a call today on my cell but did not answer. They did not leave a message.

I received a call from this number, too and declined it. I am also on the DNC registry but I called the number back and got an automated response telling me they are a marketing agency. The recording instructed me to press 1 to put my number on the list of those that do not wish to receive any more calls. We'll see if that works.

Received call on my cell today (11-07-2011). No message was left and my cell # is on the DNC registry.
Also received a call from Gresham, OR (971-220-1011) on 10-10-2011.Probably the same company.

I have received several calls to my cell phone from this #. I press through to speak to a representative and ask to be removed from their list. Today was the 5th time in 60 days. Today, when I asked the rep to remove me, he merely disconnected. I have always been polite, but now I'm done being nice.

I think pressing 1 just confirms your number as a good number and now you will be barraged with calls.

Absolutely right Jody.  An answering machine can't respond to a voice instruction and press numbers, but a real live person can.  You have just told them there is a live one on the line.  Of course the computer knows what time you answered.  This data can be used to target you again.  Not all scams do this of course, but many do.
Best thing is to not respond in any manner.

Whatever. I've been a telemarketer as well. This message specifically asks if you want to be on THEIR DNC LIST and they still continue to call trying to gather personal information. Who knows what they are trying to use it for. Dangerous for those that are vulnerable and trusting. Not all telemarketing is the same. Yes it sucks to work in telemarketing as well but every job has it's drawbacks.

This number called my cell. I answered and nothing was said on the other end from this number.

I got a call, but I didn't answer as this number is not in my contact list. I too am on the DNC list.

Received a call on my cell at 9:17am in AZ.  Rejected it because I don't know anyone from Salem, OR.

If you call the number back and press 1 after the prompt it will put you on that company's DNC list. I have also reported them for calling me on the DNC to sell me products. At least this will stop their calls while your complaint goes through the DNC.

Called my cell today, did not answer. Also on DNC list and have no credit issues. If an attorney wants to sue these guys I am in.

Went to the DNC site and filed a complaint. Suggestion everyone do it.
