Yeah, they keep calling me too but never say who they are and what company. I just keep blocking their calls.

i get  calls from this number as well. takes a minute to connect to someone...they are obviously reading a script..i am guessing the number is spoofed due to the accent of the person on the other end and the fact you can hear multiple voices in the background with similar accent. so i assume the calls are coming from another country. They say are calling on behalf of telus and that it concerns a debt owed to telus. "please hold and I will connect you to a representative"...the line clicks and connects with someone else who speaks perfect english. They tell me the same thing. telus..dept..blah blah. Before she can continue she needs to verify for security reasons...asks for my birthday(which i refuse) she asks for my address(i refuse)..she says since i am not willing to cooperate the call will be terminated and they will call back when i am ready to cooperate. which she does they also sometimes call from 506--382-2079. 1)i havent dealt with telus in over 10 years..i dont have a dept with them but even if i did after 7 years of no contact you cannot collect. 2)i have dealt with collections before....they have never been all that concerned with security. They do like to verify  but they are usually just say is this so and so of 124 any street born jan 1 of 1999? and then if you verify they threaten you with the debt and legal action etc etc. (unless its a really big debt its not usually worth taking you to court). not this call they are trying to get you to volunteer information.   i smell a scam

Someone calls to say I owe money on a cell phone from Rogers 2 years ago....yet they never called me on my cell phone (which was a pay as you go ). Never had a cell phone from Rogers...called Rogers and they had no existing bill on record for me. They have used so many different numbers (spoofed) that show a local car dealership, 2 private citizens that I have no idea who they are ( all numbers from my local area), but the best one was my own number! I called myself ! They called the first 2 times I answered and said someone will be with you.. this woman also reads a script and says I owe this 97.00 from Rogers...I got angry and said call me til the cows come home I will not give you a cent....it has been almost 2 months, will they ever stop? CRD or something like that collection agency

They use a robo dialer and can call from any local numbers, toll free numbers and long distance numbers from the states. They will keep calling over and over with different numbers, text you and emails. They won't stop even if you don't owe or have any debts and they won't believe you if they are looking for someone you don't even know.  The company buys information and then tries to collect debts owned, even if the debt is paid off. Most of the information they buy is wrong or very outdated.

Got the same call just right now from 506-854-2438 and couple days ago from 506-382-2079
They hung up after I answered. Numbers are now blocked. Thanks for your input!

Cbv collections from trans union credit dept. The scam old cell phone debts they pay pennies for. Don't give them anything just tell them to remove you from there calling list or you will sue. Hope this helps!

Don't know why these companies can call from 7:30am - 10pm 7 days a week and we can't block the numbers on our home phones, They need to get the right information before they call people this is nothing but Harassement

7:30am - 10pm 7 days a week  10times a day. these people are calling from different #'s all for a non exitsting bill they say I owe. I haven't been with Rogers for over 18yrs and definitely would never use them again after this harasement  and they are using out of country people to call you.

I got a call from this number today,  I answer the phone. And it’s someone saying they are calling on behalf of Rogers,  I ask what for. They say I’ll connect you.   So I connect.  And take the call.  Why. Because I work for Rogers,   Buddy comes on and says.  CBV collections. And wants me to answer questions.  Like wants my DOB. And I refuse.  And said. No I don’t have to answer any of your questions. You called me.  I don’t have to provide you with any of my information.   I know my rights.   I have no idea who the hell you are.  Could be some kind of scam/phishing call.  I do t owe Rogers anything, as I work for the company.   He like are you a lawyer.  I said I don’t have to be a lawyer. To know my rights and protect myself against some guy calling me and asking me for my personal information.   He gets very rude. So I am very rude.  And he hated it when I called him buddy. Lol.   To proceeded to go on to tell me the law. I said. You called me. I’m not providing you with info.  And this call is over.   He said. No this call is over because he said so.  Not because I said so, I said wrong Buddy.  It’s over cause I said so and hung up lol.

They called stating there Rogers collections and asked me to give them my information and when I said tell me what you have on file I will tell
You if it’s right and that I was not giving him any information he said ok and hung up.

Same , except it's with rogers and I haven't had Roger's in over 12 years and I know I paid it off ..... so they keep telling me they will call back when I'm not being so rude 🤷‍♀️ good luck hahaha

This number calls me about 5 times a day, everyday. A few different people talking. They’ve asked about Telus, Rogers, etc. Definitely a scam

This phone number just called me, they've been calling me for the past few days with different phone numbers. I don't bother to answer as I know it's a scam.

They constantly call, but not from telus. I picked up once and no one said anything. Now I ignore

Debt collection agency a**holes

Call try to get money from you from a "account" they say is owed havent had a dam account with rogers in over 20 years and nothing is owed even contacted rodgers myself and they said no ballace was owed [***] CBV

Same thing happened to me today from that number. As soon as I answered they hung up

This caller keeps on calling me, without saying anything about them
